Coronavirus Diary

Day 156 20th August 2020

There's 6,556 cases in Northern Ireland, 322,280 in the UK and 27,676 in Ireland. The cases keep going up across Northern Ireland and Ireland, it's really bad and it'll probably get even worse in the cold weather.

I was having a call with a work advisor this morning and I ended up waking up an hour later than I meant to. I'd set my alarm last night, but I must've slept through it, thankfully my dad knocked on my door and asked if I was awake.

Then I went downstairs and waited on the call, I got a message saying she'd tried to call, but I never got a call through, so I told her that. Then she called to ask how things were going and I said it was all fine.

Then I watched Space Force and they were launching a rocket, the general wanted to go ahead with the launch but the scientist didn't want to because of the weather. The other scientists agreed that they should cancel the launch, but they went ahead with it and it went well.

There was a massive ship thing that attacked a satellite and they were trying to figure out how to fix it and the general talked about using bombs, everyone thought it was ridiculous. Then he found out there was a chimp and a dog in space, they'd been abandoned, it was really mean, I felt so sorry for them. They got the chimp to put on his helmet and then they took about 4 hours to get the right tool. The chimp went out and nearly fixed the satellite, but when he was drilling or something he got spun round and became detached. 

The chimp was caught by the Chinese who'd messed up the satellite.

After that I watched Ted 2 and ted was having problems in his relationship, so they decided to have a baby. Ted asked Flash Gordon to do it, but he couldn't because he only had 1 sperm left, then he went to get some sports guy's sperm. He snuck into the house with John and they lifted the duvet cover, but the guy woke up so they had to run.

Then John offered his sperm and asked why Ted hadn't asked him in the first place and it was because he didn't want to add stress, since John had got a divorce. They went to a fertility clinic and it was pretty funny, but gross when all the sperm went onto John when he tipped the shelf over.

They found out that Tami's body was too bad to have kids because of all the drugs. They decided to adopt but they couldn't because of Tami's past with drugs and they said Ted wasn't a person.

Ted lost his job, his marriage was annulled and a few other things, so they decided to take the case to court.

I really enjoyed the movie, I thought it was funny and I much preferred Amanda Seyfried as the lead than Mila Kunis, because in the first movie she didn't like Ted.

Then I watched Floor is Lava and it was space themed, which was pretty cool. The first group got one guy through and the next two got Zero people through, I think that's the first time I've seen none of the team get through.

My parents were trying to get my car I insurance sorted because my sister is taking her name off the car so that she can  get a car in America. It used to cost £200 but now it's costing £800 even with changing my dad to the named driver. It's really annoying because it's very expensive and a lot more than I was expecting.

I watched Too Hot to Handle, it's a show where single people who always have short flings instead of meaningful relationships go on to win 100,000, but money is deducted if they kiss, have sex or masturbate. For the first 12 hours the rules weren't in place, so there were four people kissing and getting along. They also did a game where they were blindfolded and they kissed and the person who couldn't see had to guess who it was.

Then they were told the rules and I think it'll be difficult for some of them.

Then I watched The Office webisodes and they were trying to work out how 3,000 had gone missing, they interviewed people like Meredith, but they knew none of them had taken it.

They suspected Michael, so they went into his office to look around and they found loads of bills for the magic store and Angela paid off his electricity bill, it was pretty funny.

In the end they found out it was Angela's fault.

After that I watched Bondi Rescue and there was a kid who was drowning, so one of the lifeguards went out to get him and the kid didn't know to get on the board, so the lifeguard had to hold him up. 

Then the dad went out to save the son and he nearly drowned as well, but the guy got them both in.

Mario had to go out and save a woman who had tomato rubber ring around her. She wasn't getting out of the rubber ring and Mario kinda had to pull it off her. Then they got to the shore and she was laughing in the rhino and Mario thought it was strange, until he found out that it was because her locker key was attached to the rubber ring. Thankfully the friend who a surfer had helped got both their rubber rings.

Harries went out to save a guy and he was kinda cross and telling the man off, it was quite unlike him because normally he's not that tough on them. He seemed a bit like H the way he was going on.

Chappo had misplaced his keys and he was looking around all over for them, it was pretty funny. Then another lifeguard found then in the rhino and Chappo made a hook for his keys.

There was something causing splashing in the water and Singlets thought it was a whale, two guys went out to investigate and they said it was a whale. They got closer because they thought it was sick and they discovered an upturned boat. One of them got in to check for people, but there was no one in the boat. Then the narrator said that one of the people got out but the other was missing, it's pretty sad.

There was an end of season surfing competition and Beardy and his team won.

They were showing the beach being closed because of the coronavirus and it looked pretty nice, but it was weird seeing it completely empty.

I told my dad about what had happened to my Spotify and I saw that all the songs were on my computer, but not on my phone app. He tried to solve the problem for about an hour, but he couldn't fix it. I sent a message to the Spotify support, so hopefully they'll fix it for me, it'd be a lot handier than me going and liking all the songs, I've got about half of them added again.

Then I watched Deep Blue Sea 3 and the bull sharks had escaped from the facility in the second movie. They went to a small village that lived on the water and the great white sharks were killed. 

They all had to work together to capture the sharks. I enjoyed the movie, but it obviously wasn't as good as the first, it's a classic.

After that I watched Condor and Joe was talking to Kathy and trying to explain what had happened to him. Then when he wasn't looking she got pepper spray and got him in the eyes. 

His uncle had called to warn him about the people going after him, so he left with Kathy and went to the neighbours house because she was meant to be feeding the cat. They'd fought because of the pepper spray and he accidentally knocked her out, so it was easier to get her across.

She ended up believing his story and she stayed with him. They were watching the TV and Joe's old friend came on saying the place he'd worked at was actually a CIA place and Kathy held his hand.

The uncle has a woman working at the office and she's informing him of what's going on. Her ex was one of the ones who was killed, it must be awful for her. 

It showed Joe's past, his uncle got him into the CIA and then when he got home him, his girlfriend and friend were all arrested, but the uncle made sure they were let go.
