Coronavirus Diary

Day 154 18th August 2020

There's 6,471 cases in Northern Ireland, 320,286 in the UK and 27,499 in Ireland. There's still a lot of new cases in Northern Ireland, I really don't like it, I don't want myself or my family to get the virus.

When I got up I watched Knocked Up which is a movie with Seth Rogen, Katherine Heigl, Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Jason Segel, Jay Baruchel and Jonah Hill in it. There were also a few funny cameos, like Ryan and Darryl from the office and Steve Carell and James Franco were in it briefly.

Katherine went out and got drunk and slept with Seth and he didn't use a condom due to a misunderstanding. She got pregnant and she had to tell him.

I thought the movie was pretty funny and I enjoyed it.

Then I watched Bondi Rescue and one of the lifeguards was reversing the buggy and it got stuck in the sand, one of the young guys was saying they should tow it and then reverse it. They finally listened to him and it worked.

After that I watched The Office and Andy was going to get fired, but he said he was quitting to pursue acting. Everyone told him not to, so he went back to David and he was allowed to be a sales person. He decided to try to get fired, so he tried to get Toby to write something bad but he wouldn't. Then he tried to touch Toby's dick, it was really funny. Andy also pooed on David's car.

Dwight had been working for years to get his black belt in karate and he got it and Chris from The Sopranos was his sensei. It was really funny because Dwight was messing about when his old belt was meant to be taken off. Then he did a very long kata, which is a combination of moves, like blocks, punches and kicks.

David was talking to Jim about being the manager and he said Dwight should get the job. David talked to Dwight and he got the job and he was really happy, then he went out and announced it to everyone and they seemed happy for him. Dwight gave Jim back his desk because Clarke had taken it from him and then he gave Jim the job as Assistant Manager, but Jim called himself assistant to the manager. They hugged and it was really sweet.

Angela's cats had to be taken away because it was against her apartment rules or something and she seemed a bit depressed. Oscar was kind and said she should move in with him for a while, so she agreed. She was crying in the car and he said he understood how she felt because he was upset about the senator too, but she was upset because she loved Dwight. I really hope they'll get back together again.

Then I watched a thing with Will Smith where he went diving with sharks. He was saying how he thought he'd nearly drowned as a kid and his mum had to save him, but she said that wasn't true. Then he was saying he was scared of sharks and Jaws probably caused the fear. He wanted to overcome the fear so that it didn't hold him back. 

On the first dive there was a shark near him and I think it freaked him out a bit. The next two dives were fine and on one of them he brought his kids. It was really nice seeing Jaden, I loved him when I was a kid, but I don't really like his hair now. 

Then on the last dive he had to get in with lemon sharks and it looked hideous. They went down to the bottom and tiger sharks appeared, they had to push them away some of the time and they touched them as well, it looked terrifying. I wouldn't have wanted to touch them.

Will seemed really happy that he'd done it and it seemed like he appreciated sharks a lot more.

Then I watched Psycho 3 and a woman who looked like the woman killed in the first movie went to the motel. Norman was back to talking to his mother and thinking she was alive, so he ended up killing again.

I enjoyed the movie, but I prefer the first two.

After that I watched Prodigal Son and they thought Nicholas was bad and they found out that Eve had been killed, so Malcolm went to find her killer. It was a hitman who killed her and the guy who did it tried to kill Martin, but he fought back when Malcolm called him his dad. 

The man was in hospital and Malcolm went to see him. He died and it seemed like Malcom had killed him because there was DNA evidence. 

Malcolm was under house arrest, but he left so that he could solve the case. He found Eve's sister and knew that she was the one who'd killed the man, but he didn't turn her in.

He also found out that Nicholas could've easily tampered with the evidence, he told everyone about it and they let him go. 

The mum was with Nicholas and he left, so she sneaked out to see what was going on and Gill was stabbed, it was awful. She snuck back to the dining room and when Nicholas got back she hit him over the head with a plate and samue saved Gill, it was great.

Nicholas went to their house and Malcolm got there. The man was being horrible and Malcolm was holding up a gun, but Nicholas said he wouldn't do anything and said he's his mum's son. Then Ainsley slit his throat and stabbed him multiple times, it was great. She had a blackout and Malcolm seemed quite worried.

Martin was transferred to a prison because of Nicholas and everyone wanted him dead in there. He became friends with the leader by giving him medical advice and then a guy tried to attack but he was stopped by the leader. A phone fell on the ground and Martin lifted it and called his family, he found out about Ainsley killing Nicholas and he was impressed, it was pretty funny.

Then I watched A Question of Sport and there was a question about what year the sporting event took place. I got the gymnastics one right.

They also had a question about footballers and their nationality, I recognised two of the players and guessed both of their countries right.

They ended with a sprint finish and Phil did pretty well, but Matt got them all right and beat him.
