Coronavirus Diary

Day 72 28th May 2020

There's 4,679 cases in Northern Ireland, 269,127 in the UK and 24,841 in Ireland. There are still a lot of deaths and infections but it doesn't seem like quite as many.

I got up and watched Station 19 and they showed Maya's past. Her father was horrible and wouldn't accept it when she lost. He literally ignored her and wouldn't pass the mash to her. He got so angry that he threw the mash at the wall.

Everyone went out camping. A woman and her husband got attacked by a bear and the team found out so they had to help them get down the mountain. I've only remembered now that the woman was cheating on her husband when he'd jumped in front of the bear for her. Unfortunately he died in Grey's Anatomy.

Sullivan took drugs from the supply and he got high at work, it's because of the pain in his leg. It's very sad and I hope it'll get sorted.

After that I drove to meet Shiv. We walked around and sat in a small forest area. It was good talking to him, but I'm not sure if I want to date him or not. He's funny and I like hanging out with him, but he was telling me about a girl he dated and he kept bugging her when things ended. He literally went to her house to talk to her!

He also said that he'd kinda cheated on her because he hooked up with another girl when he'd been talking to the one he was already seeing.

He was also going on about how lesbians are great kissers. He kissed three girls in the one night!

He'd been attacked a few weeks after I first met him and he said today that he got attacked because he'd been dating a Chinese girl that the guy who attacked him liked. It makes me wonder if he was seeing both of us around the same time.

Then when we were at the train station he was asking if I check guys out and asking what I thought of the girl on the opposite platform.

I don't really know what to do. I enjoyed the first and second date with him, but some of the stuff he said today put me off him. He really seems like a player and I'm worried he'd cheat on me if it went anywhere. Plus he seems quite stalkerish and I don't think I'd feel comfortable if he knew where I live.

When I got home I watched The Resident and they got rid of the faulty heart valves. Devon went to check on Julian but she wasn't at her house, he took her cat and a letter that was addressed to her. He found out that she called the FDA before the car crash so he thinks the bad medical company are involved.

Nikki's sister was taking drugs again so Nikki kicked her out of the house. At the end of the episode the sister was outside a house and I assume it was Nikki's.

After that I watched Goodfellas, it's a movie with Robert De Niro, Ray Liotta and Joe Pesci in it. They're all gangsters and it showed their lives. I loved the movie and it was based on a true story. Samuel L. Jackson was in the movie briefly and he was very thin and quite young in it.

Then I watched Chicago Fire and Kelly has been moved to fire investigation because he's good at it. It's a bit unfortunate because he loves being a firefighter.

Stella is doing too much work because she's helping to train cadets along with her firefighting duties. She was slow when Matt asked her to help and it's clear that she was struggling.

Cruz was at an event and he was showing off his invention the Slamagen, I probably didn't spell that right. It's a device that combines two of the equipment to open doors. Other people at the event had stolen the idea and I thought it was very unfair. Joe kept complaining about them stealing his invention and the other firefighters were there to support him. 

The people went to show how it worked and the equipment broke. Then Joe showed how it actually worked and he sold loads.

There was a woman being held captive by her ex and a policeman wouldn't move his car out of the way for Herrmann. Herrmann got into the car and moved it and he got the police officer out of the way.

Matt and Kelly abseiled down and grabbed the woman from the window and they got her away safely. Herrmann had to spray the man with water to stop him from shooting Kelly, Matt and the woman.

The police officer said that Herrmann had assaulted him because he moved him out of the way. Herrmann tried to ask a police woman to get it sorted and she said he should apologise.

Herrmann said sorry to the man and offered him a free drink at Molly's and then he went to see him at work to apologise and offer him a beer. But the man was rude and wouldn't accept the apology.

Thankfully Kelly got it sorted because he's respected by the commissioner or something of the fire department.

Emily was looking for an extra job and she got one as a fitness instructor. I thought she seemed very tough and quite rude and I think Sylvie thought that as well. But she got loads more clients so she'll keep the job.

Sylvie had lunch with the social worker and he'd thought it was a date but she hadn't. He went in for a kiss and she rejected him, it was pretty awkward.
