Alejandro was the last one to leave the house, and while Sophia packed her things I went to take a shower.

After, I changed into this

I walked downstairs looking for my keys. "Ma have you seen my keys?" I asked "Yea your car couldn't be fixed anymore, so just take the rover" she said tossing me the keys

"Stay safe mija" she smiled giving me a kiss on the forehead "I will" I smiled then left the car

I called Mattia a couple times on my way to his house and there was no answer, maybe his phone died, or did he get a new number?

I got to his house and saw an unfamiliar car parked on the driveway.

I knocked on the door a couple times and yet again there was no answer, I started to get concerned.

As I was about to knock again he opened the door, "hey" he said out of breath "hey um everything good?" I asked

"Yea" he smiled nervously

"Well we need to talk" I said

"About?" He asked breaking eye contact "ale was going to tell me something but said it's better if I heard it from you" I looked at him

"It's something that happened these past few weeks I was in coma" I lightly smiled

"Babe who's that?" I heard a voice coming behind him

"Babe?" I looked up at him "I-I can explain" he stuttered

"Really Mattia?! I can't believe you right now" a small laugh escaped my mouth and I rolled my eyes

"Lani-"

"It's Kailani for your information Mattia Polibio" my eyes started to water

I can't believe him right now, two weeks, it took him to "move on" I guess.

I would have waited for his bitch ass to wake the fuck up

"What?" He followed me to the car "I can't believe you right now" I looked at him "I'm sorry!" He yelled

"Damn you find out that kid isn't yours, then you go and find a girl" I looked away from him

"It's complicated" he said grabbing my arm

"Complicated? I would have waited for you Mattia! No matter the fucking situation you were in, wether you were stable or die any second, I would have waited!" I said pushing his hand off me.

"Bye Mattia" I looked at his tearful eyes.

I drove back home holding my tears back, how could I fall this hard for him, Kairi was right.

All Mattia would do is hurt me.

"Hey..oh my god what happened" kairi said as I walked into the house pulling my into his arms.

"Did you know about Mattia?" I looked up at him

"Know what?" He whipped my tears with his sleeve "what happened the past two weeks" i said as I walked to the living room

"Sadly I did but I didn't want to tell you, it would've been better if you knew from him telling you" he sat down next to me

"I-I thought h-he loved me? We were happy" I looked down and a tear fell onto my hand

"I did so too, did he explain why he did what he did?" He said and I shook me head

"You should let him, even if you are hurting you need to let him explain" he rubbed my back "do you know why?" I wiped my tears

"Yes, trust me when you find out why your going to be mad but we all understood him, I don't know who you'll take it in" he said

"Well ima go to bed now" I lightly smiled "goodnight see you in the morning" he smiled hugging me

Then in my way to the stairs I say Sophia walking out her room with all her things.

I know what she did was wrong and I'm mad about it, but I feel bad kicking her out.

"Do you know where you're going to stay?" I asked "Joey let me stay at his house for tonight" she said looking for something in her bag

"Here" she put her hand out with the house keys

"Keep them, and if you haven't found a place by the morning you can come back" I said "wait what?" She looked confused

"Look what you did was wrong, and after all you are like a sister to me, I understand you didn't want to do this" I said feeling my eyes water

"Okay then...what wrong though?" She said wiping the tear off it her thumb.

"It's nothing" I smiled the she left and I went back upstairs and went to sleep thinking about Mattia.
