"This means they're speaking"

("This means they're thinking")

No one's POV

As Izuku felt a new determination blaze within him, he ran back home. He opened the door to see his mom watching tv.

Inko: "You're home early sweetie, aren't you supposed to be with Mitsuki's son right now?"

Izuku: "He called it off today. Anyway, is it possible for me to take martial art classes?" he said with excitement

She asked why he wanted to learn martial arts, he replied that he wanted to be the first quirkless hero. She looked at him with guilt, she thinks that it's her fault that her son was quirkless and wasn't possible to be a hero, but she couldn't refuse his request if it meant he would feel better, so she replied that he could take martial art classes. Izuku jumped for joy as he ran up to his mom and gave her a hug, she couldn't do anything but just pat his head with a small smile on her face. He then let go of his mother and ran towards his room.

Inko: "Where are you going sweetie?" she asked Izuku

Izuku: "If I plan to be the first quirkless hero, I also need to do research in order to prepare myself since I can't just rely on physical abilities alone". He replied as he entered his room.

His mother only looked at him with more sadness since she thinks it's not possible for him to be a hero.

Izuku's POV

I ran to my computer as I pulled out my notebook and began taking notes on every hero that I could find, no matter what, I wrote down everything about them. My mom then called for me, telling me that dinner was ready. I looked up at the time on my computer only to realize that hours have passed. I closed my computer and turned off my computer as I stretched my arms and headed to the kitchen. I took my seat and as I was eating, I was reviewing the notes I took in my head.

Inko: "Is something wrong honey, you have been muttering stuff about heroes for a while now?"

I stopped reviewing the notes in my head and looked at my mom embarrassed.

Izuku: "Have I, sorry, I was just reviewing what I researched in my head. I was probably just too concentrated with my thoughts  that I didn't realize that I was muttering stuff." I replied

I then continued eating my dinner, continuing to review my notes in my head, without realizing that I began muttering again. My mom thought it was just a phase and continued eating dinner. As soon as I finished, I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and return to my room. I looked at the clock and realized there would be a few hours until bedtime, so I then opened my notebook to see I needed to add anything to it.

Izuku: ("I put in everything that the internet had on each hero that I wrote about, but why does it feel like there is still more to add to each hero.")

I then realized what I was missing.

Izuku: ("That's right! I need more of an understanding about how their quirks would work in different scenarios.")

I then turned on my computer to research more things such as biology, physics, chemistry, aerodynamics, everything I could get my hands on as I began writing more notes in a separate notebook. I looked back at the time to only realize it's past my bedtime, so I closed my notebook and turned off my computer as I went to bed, reviewing everything in my head as I fell back to sleep.

The morning woke me up before my alarm did, so I decided to continue doing my research as I began my notes. My mom then called me for breakfast, so I stopped taking notes and went to the kitchen as she was setting up the plates.

Izuku: "Mom, when do you think I can start taking martial arts classes?" I asked.

Inko: " Next week honey. I still need to find you a mentor and prepare other things you may need for those classes." she answered

I replied with an ok as I happily ate my breakfast while I once again, muttered out my thoughts as I was reviewing the notes I had taken this morning. I put my plate into the sink as I rushed back to my room to do more research. A week had passed by without incident, Kacchan stopped calling me which made me think he truly discarded me, but I gained enough knowledge to be a fifth-grader, it was also the day I began my martial arts classes. I entered class wearing my new uniform as I watched many of my future classmates practicing. A boy with blue messy hair came to me as I sat down.

???: "Hello there, you must be new here because I've been coming here for months and I don't recognize you." he asked

Izuku: " Yeah. I just started today, the name is Izuku Midoriya, you can call me Midoriya, what's your name?" as I raised my hand for a handshake.

He then shook my hand and answered.

???: " Hello there Midoriya-san, my name is Daichi Tanaka. But you can call me Tanaka. My quirk is weather, I'm able to manipulate my body to act as the forces of nature."

Izuku: " That is a cool quirk, it must be very strong as well." I said with excitement

Daichi: "It sure is, the only downside to this is that my personality and hair also change to adapt to the previous force of nature I used. Which is why I'm taking these classes, so that I do not rely on my quirk so that my personality doesn't change as much" he said looking down embarrassed as he rubbed the back of his neck, "Anyways, what is your quirk?" he asked looking back at me.

I stopped for a moment to see how I should answer. I figured that if I wanted to be the first quirkless hero, I must embrace being quirkless.

Izuku: " I don't have a quirk, I'm quirkless, but it won't stop me from being a hero." I said while the other students stopped what they were doing and looked at me with scorn.

I looked down embarrassed with all eyes staring at me, it still hurts to receive hate from everyone, but while Daichi stood still in silence, he then spoke,

Daichi: "Woah, I never met someone who is quirkless, much less someone who is around my age, and you're still aiming to be a hero, that's some strong determination you have." he said in amazement.

I then looked back at him only to see his face filled with excitement.

Izuku: " You're not disgusted by the fact that a quirkless guy like me is aiming to be a hero." I said in confusion.

Daichi: " Not really, my grandpa taught me that I should never look down on people, cause one day they might be an amazing person, so I should never judge people before I get to know them, so who knows, your dreams may come true." he said with a smile.

I began getting teary-eyed because he was the first person to believe in me. He then asked me if I was ok, I looked at him with a smile, telling him that I was just happy to hear those words.

Author's Note: Wow, this took a while to write. Anyway I wanted to write another chapter this weekend since the previous one just felt too close to the original, I also wanted to introduce my OC, I don't plan on him making it into U.A. but to Shiketsu Highschool, since I don't plan on using him much, but he is needed a needed character, so comment what you think of him. Anyways, thanks for reading, see next week, probably.
