Momo's POV:

~~~~Right before Midoriya had entered the venue~~~~
I was still in my room while my maids were putting up the finishing touches to my dress. My mother was there to supervise them. I was standing still for nearly two hours and I was getting tired and bored.
Momo: "Mother? How much longer until the dress is done." I complained.
MY: "Nearly done sweetie. I'm sorry that it's taking so long but it took a while for the florist to get here. Maybe I should hire a new one for making my baby late to her own birthday." She says to herself as she begins thinking of other options for the florist.
Momo: "Mother it's okay. In exchange for me being late, we can just make it a grand entrance when I arrive." I say to her in hopes she forgets about the florist.
She looked at me intrigued by the idea.
MY: "Oh sweetie, what a wonderful idea. What a way to turn misfortune into opportunity!" she exclaims as she calls in for other servants and hastily begins planning my entrance.
I sigh in relief since I barely managed to save the florist. I waited for another few minutes for the maids to be finished with the dress.
Maid: "Aannndddd done. What do you think about it madam?" she asks as she presents me to my mother.
MY: "Another perfect job well done." she says as she was amazed by my look.
She then snapped her fingers to call in two other maids who were carrying a body mirror. They then set it down in front of me as I then take a gander at myself. I was wearing a light red dress with white knee socks (I don't what they're called) and red flat shoes; my hair was still in a ponytail but it was in a Dutch Lace style ponytail with a few red roses placed in it.
MY: "What do you think about it sweetie?" she asks me
MY: "What do you think about it sweetie?" she asks me.
Momo: "I love it." as I then ran to give her a hug. She chuckles at me and hugs me back.
MY: "Glad you like it sweetie." she smiles. "Now remember to be careful while moving in that, okay?" I nodded to her. "Good. Now then, I think a few more minutes until the preparations are set," she says as she looks at her wristwatch.
We waited in the dressing room for a while until she received a message from one of the maids that they were ready. We walked through the hallways to the doors that lead to the venue. My mother held me back from exiting and signaled me to wait again. I peek through the windows to see what was going on outside. I see my father is up on stage with the orchestra as he was trying to get the attention of the guests that attended. The window was slightly opened so I was able to hear what he was saying.
DY: "Dear Ladies and Gentlemen. I want to thank many of you for attending my daughter's 8th birthday. Although many of you may be partners with my company, I hope that my daughter is able to get along with your children just like I have with you." he then raises his glass. "Cheers!" he says which got everybody else to say cheers, as well as they, started drinking.
Father then signaled the orchestra to start playing, and right on cue, my mother signaled me that it was time to enter. She had the maids open both doors to reveal me to the crowd. I started walking down the stairs, careful to not step on my dress, and while I was descending, rose petals were being thrown into the air. Once I reached the last step, I see my father signaling me to come on stage with him. As I walked up next to father, he then whispered into my ear to give a speech as well. I was flustered because I didn't expect to give a speech of my own but I remained calm and did my best.
Momo: "Like what my father has said, I am very grateful for you attending my 8th birthday. It is delightful to see many familiar faces from last year's birthday banquet. I really hope to make good friends at this party." as I then bowed.
I received applause from the audience as I and my father then begin walking off the stage. My mother walked up to us as she then starts complimenting us.
MY: "That was a wonderful speech deary." as she clasped her hands together looking delighted. "I didn't know you had a speech prepared for your birthday."
Momo: "I-I didn't. Father suddenly sprung upon me to give a speech, so I made it as I was speaking."
She then slowly turns to father as he starts having cold sweats.
MY: "Oh really?" she says in an ominous way.
DY: "N-now honey. I-it just fit with the mood f-for her to g-give a speech." he says nervously.
MY: "Hmm. Well then it fits my mood to beat someone up for their thoughtless decision." she then grabs father's collar and started dragging him back to the mansion.
I was left all alone, so I decided to search for Midoriya. I started walking around to see where the green fluff ball was, but I didn't see him. While I was still walking around, the kids that were invited to the party started crowding me.
Rando #3: "You look amazing in that dress."
Rando #8: "Congratulations on your birthday."
Rando #2: "I envy how gorgeous your hair is."
They all started giving me tons of compliments to please me, but I know they are just saying that to get closer to me so that their parents can be closer to mine. I just nodded away and thanked them for their compliments while I also tried to compliment them back. This pattern went on for a while until I heard a familiar voice.
BBB: "Good to see you again." I then turned to where the voice originated from.
Momo: "Good to see you too." I said in a calm manner but was not delighted to see him again.
I met him last year for the first time and at first, he seemed like a good person, but later I found his attitude disgusting. He thinks he is above the middle class because of his parent's wealth, and that was before he heard that his father's company was making a contract with my parents' company, which was what I heard from other aquatints, and now they are saying his ego grew bigger.
Once everybody saw who it was, they quickly dispersed since they couldn't handle his attitude. He then smirked as he walked up to me and started giving me basic compliments. I just smiled and didn't respond to him while I waited for it to be over. Then I heard father trying to get everyone's attention.
DY: "Pardon for the interruption but it seems we have a surprise singer for today. He may be only 8 years old but I can guarantee his singing abilities because I had heard them first hand." He then backed away from the stage to reveal a familiar green furball in a black suit and green tie as he was holding a guitar as he walked on stage.
Momo: 'What is he planning to do?' I thought to myself as he grabbed a chair and mic. He then took a seat and started tuning the guitar.
