Daichi's POV

As I tried to comfort my new friend, Midoriya, trying to understand why he was crying and what he meant when he said he was happy with what I said, I didn't notice it until I looked around me. I noticed the glares that were all focused on Midoriya and the quiet talks about him when he said he was quirkless.

Student 1: "He's quirkless, why is he here?"

Student 3: "Looks like we have our new punching dummy."

Student 6: "He wants to be a hero as if that's possible."

I heard many of them talk badly about him, which just made me angry since they were looking down on him.

Daichi: " What are you looking at?" I shouted as everybody flinched and resumed their training, only taking quick glances at Midoriya that were still filled with hatred.

I look back at Midoriya to see if he was okay. He said that he expected this, which just made me furious. I went to his side and wrapped my arm over his shoulder and said to him.

Daichi: "You don't have to worry about a thing. If the whole world is against you, I will still be on your side." I said confidently, trying to cheer him up.

Izuku: "Really?" he questioned as he stopped crying and wiped away his tears.

Daichi: "Really, after all I am...." I was about to finish my sentence but our sensei walked in and ordered us to line up. I stopped and told Midoriya to line up with me.

As we lined up, our sensei told us about the martial art competition that was going to happen in November. Many people were excited by this fact, although it isn't very popular nowadays due to quirk-based events, the martial art competition was a way to prove your skills and also move up two ranks if you were able to rank first. I didn't really care about it since my grandpa teaches me other fighting styles besides martial arts, but I was only put into this class so that there will be eyes on me to keep me in check.

Sensei: " That is all it for announcements, now it's time to train in your respective groups."

I went to my group of blue belts as I looked back at Midoriya as he went with the few white belts we had. I waited for our sensei to come to us as he told other groups what forms they should work on. As I waited, I noticed that Midoriya was left alone without a partner after sensei gave his group instructions on what to do. I tried to walk towards him when I was stopped by my sensei.

Sensei: "Where do you think you're going?" He questioned me.

Daichi: "I noticed that my friend had nobody to partner with, so I was just going to..." I was once again interrupted by my sensei.

Sensei: "You stay within your respective group. You are the prodigy of my class, my ticket for recognition,  and I need you to train with others who are on your level so that you could grow, not with someone who is below you."

I was so pissed at him because he's doing nothing to help Midoriya, and now he is stopping me from helping him, I just clenched my fist and looked up at him and was about to speak until he said.

Sensei: "You do remember that I was made to report anything you do to your uncle. Now, what were you going to do again?" he said with a smirk.

I stopped in my tracks as I took a breather and let go of my fists.

Daichi: " Nothing sensei. I'm staying within my respective group." I replied as I went back to my group.

He only nodded at me as he gave instructions towards what my group would be doing, I could only look back at Midoriya pondering what to do.

Izuku's POV

Our sensei just left us as he gave out instructions on what to do. I tried to partner up with one of my group members, but they all avoided me as I got closer to them. I just stood there as I watched them train as I was left out. As they were practicing with each other, I reviewed what our sensei said and analyzed what my group was doing. I realized that many of them were in bad forms due to bad hip movement and posture. I tried to walk up to them to try to correct them, but they just pushed me aside saying that I just got here and knew nothing of what I was talking about. I just returned to my original position as I watched them. I then got an idea of how to improve the technique that our sensei just taught us, so I decided to prop up one of the dummies that were laying around.

Izuku: ("Sensei told us to follow his technique exactly as he showed it but it seems ineffective.") I thought while following the exact movements he taught us to do.

Izuku: ("Maybe if I were to do this instead.") As I reviewed notes on the human body, and just as I completed the puzzle, my body moved towards the instructions that were in my head and I ended on the floor with the dummy in the improved lock I made.

I didn't realize that I was on the floor until I stopped to look at my surroundings, remembering that I also need to be aware of my surroundings as well. That was when I noticed the stares I got from others, doing a technique that was not taught to me yet. I quickly got up and apologized if I disturbed anyone with my fall. After that everybody just shrugged it off and resumed their training, as I just looked back at the dummy to see if I needed to improve my technique or myself in order to perfect the new move I just created.

Authors Note: Hello again readers. I got bored doing nothing since I had free time and I had only a ton of ideas for this story, where this arc may last until chapter 7 or more, so I wrote this chapter to keep up with the small momentum I gave myself. I decided to make use of Izuku's analytical skills and smarts in this story while I also build up my OC. I also decided to update once every few days during my spare time if I had ideas popping up, if I can't think of anything else, or if I'm too busy, I'll at least try to update this once a week on the weekends. The next chapter may be on Wednesday or later, anyway, thank you for reading my story, and have a good day.
