Chapter 150: Party Pt. 2

Izuku's POV:

I stood there shocked and surprised to see Miss Yaoyorozu-sama and Yaoyorozu-san. Miss Yaoyorozu-sama wore a long black silk gown, reaching down to the ground, where a slit revealed a glimpse of her wearing black high heels, and in her hand was a black fan decorated with sakura petals. Yaoyorozu-san, in contrast to her previous dress at her birthday, didn't have many decorative items on her, as she only had a golden floral hair ornament holding up her ponytail as she wore a plain mint green dress.

MY: "What are you doing here?" she questions, showing a curious look in her eyes.

Izuku: "I-I came to attend the party." I said to them nervously.

Momo: "You did!" she said excitedly as she looked joyful to hear the news.

MY: "You did?" she says to me as she looks me up and down, tilting her head over to the side to see the present behind me before looking back to me, "Well, it certainly seems you're prepared, but you can't come to the part without an invitation, and, not to be rude, I highly doubt that you personally know the hosts of the party, so why are you here?" she questions.

I looked off to the side a bit to see the security guard as I then started rubbing the back of my neck, feeling embarrassed that I got caught in this situation.

Izuku: "Actually, I was not directly invited but acting as a substitute instead." which seemed to have intrigued Miss Yaoyorozu-sama as her eyebrows furrowed.

MY: "Why are you acting as a substitute?" she questions.

Izuku: "Because of a technicality of a broken contract with-" I quickly glanced to Yaoyorozu-san as I hesitated to say the next bit as I didn't want her to think that it was her fault, while she looked somewhat confused as to why I was staring at her. I quickly cleared my throat as I looked back at Miss Yaoyorozu-san, "Anyways. To make sure there aren't any repercussions, Mister Tanaka-sama  made me attend the parties that Daichi isn't able to attend."

This seemed to have made her displeased, despite her fan covering half of her face, I can tell based on how furrowed her eyebrows were that she was furious.

Momo: "If you were sent as a substitute, then why are you out here? Shouldn't you be inside by now?" she questions, giving me a curious look.

Izuku: "I was actually kicked out by the security guard as I wasn't the one named on the invitation and they ripped it up." I said back to her.

MY: "Oh really?" she says with a scary smile as she closes her fan, causing the air around her to be tense as Yaoyorozu-san and I start feeling it as we slowly crumpled.

Momo: "M-Mother. Y-Your quirk." she tried calling out as she had a hard time speaking with how tense the air was while I was confused what her quirk had to do with this.

Miss Yaoyorozu-san suddenly looked surprised as she quickly took a deep breath, calming herself as the air around us lighten up. Yaoyorozu-san and I started gasping at how frightening that was.

MY: "I'm sorry you two. It's not often I lose control." as she quickly apologizes and hugs her daughter and gives me a pat on the head. I was still confused about what her quirk was, just realizing that I never tried finding out despite seeing her on so many occasions. She then looks towards me, "Don't worry, I'll get you into that party." she turned around and started walking towards the entrance as she muttered something else that I wasn't able to hear.

I quickly picked up the present behind me as Yaoyorozu-san and I followed behind, matching her pace.

Izuku: "So what is her quirk?" I whispered over to Yaoyorozu-san as she looked surprised.

Momo: "You don't know!" She yelled out as I quickly covered up her mouth and looked back to Miss Yaoyorozu-sama to see if she was listening as it would've been embarrassing that it's been this long without knowing what her quirk is as I proclaimed myself to be a quirk analyst. After seeing that she didn't bother looking back, I sigh in relief as I let go of Yaoyorozu-san's mouth, "Sorry." she whispers back, "Just surprising. I thought you would have figured it out by now."

Izuku: "I have a guess. She's able to control the pressure around her?" I said to her as I noticed at times when it was hard to speak when Miss Yaoyorozu-sama was around.

Momo: "Not exactly. She's able to set the mood around her. Such as making it cozy, making it heart-warming, or the obvious one, making it tense to put others on edge. This is why she is the one who usually meets up with others as she can set the mood benefiting her." she whispers to me as I was amazed that a quirk can be used in such a way in business.

Izuku: "So why was she making it tense for us to speak?" I questioned as something didn't seem right.

Izuku: "Mother's abilities are mostly controlled, but whenever she let's go and let her emotions take over, the atmosphere around her would reflect that."

I nodded back as I was taking in information, using the UCS to record the conversation for later notes.

Before I knew it, we made it back to the front entrance as the security guard seemed surprised to see me again with them.

MY: "Did you kick this boy out?" she questions the guard as she pointed at me with her fan.

Security: "Y-Yes." they said nervously as their body stiffened.

MY: "Is it true that you ripped up the invitation he brought?" as the security nervously nods their head as they started sweating. She crossed her arms as she look unsatisfied with the conduct the security guard has done, "Did you know that he's a representative of Tanaka Corporations?" which seemed to shock them as they looked back at me in disbelief.

Security: "H-He didn't sa-"

MY: "Did you let him talk?' she questions, making them tense up as they hesitated to answer.

Security: "N-No." They said sadly as they looked away from Miss Yaoyorzu-sama.

MY: "Well then. You'll be letting this boy in and I'll be having a talk with your employer. Although you're doing your job, your way of conduct was insolent. We'll see what'll happen from here. Understood?" They responded by slowly nodding their head, "Good." she says back to them as she walks straight in.

I and Yaoyorozu-san followed behind, but we both take a quick look back at the security as we felt bad for what might happen to them, but what Miss Yaoyorozu-sama said was right, so I could only hope they didn't get punished too harshly.
