No one's POV:
Miss Yaoyorozu was in her office as she was filling out documents to lighten the load her husband had to bear. That's when she noticed the plant in the corner of the room was moving although the windows were shut and the head maid was next to her.
MY: "Nyoko. Would you please wait outside for a bit? I would like some alone time during my break." she requested, making Nyoko comply as she bowed and then left the room. "It took over two days?" she questions seemingly to no one until the ninja guard turned off his quirk and revealed himself.
Ninja: "I apologize for the delay. It was quite difficult obtaining any records of what the boy has done the past month."
MY: "How so?"
Ninja: "It was easy to obtain some CCTV footage of where the boy was and I was able to get into the system to see where he used his IC card. But the real issue came up when I had to check to see what times he had logged into the Tanaka Corporations database and it looked like on April 18th, he was last seen near the area of the Museum of Support Gear."
MY: "April 18th? Isn't that the date when the museum was attacked?" she asked with concern, making him nod. "That poor boy. So he wasn't forced to work but instead was only caught in a big disaster." as she felt bad for not believing in the boy when he said he wasn't forced into anything.
Ninja: "I can't rule out the possibility that he was forced to work long hours." which got her attention, "It seems that he logged into the Tanaka Corporations attendance database nearly every day from around 17:30 to 19:30 for the past two weeks." he added, making miss Yaoyorozu pissed that Fumihiro would make the boy work the boy on days he wasn't supposed to work.
She pulled out her phone as she then called Fumihiro.
Fumihiro: "Miss Yaoyorozu, what an unexp-" he started but was interrupted by an angered Miss Yaoyorozu.
MY: "WHAT RIGHT DO YOU HAVE TO MAKE A BOY WORK HOURS HE WASN'T SUPPOSED TO?!"
Fumihiro: "You mean Midoriya? Was there a problem?" he asked calmly, which only made Miss Yaoyorozu angrier that he thought it wasn't a big deal.
MY: "Problem? Not only did you force a boy to do hours that weren't in his contract, but he also collapsed from being overworked while he was tutoring my daughter." she said, frustrated.
Fumihiro: "First off, I didn't force the boy to work hours he didn't have. I assigned an order to his boss to make a large quantity of the same gadget. He wasn't forced to do anything but he wanted to help him, of his own free will. Secondly, I wasn't aware he was doing this at all. I just let my workers do their jobs and the only thing I expect is results since I'm too busy running the company. I was only told yesterday that he helped Nakamura-san when I went to visit since the order was due yesterday. So his collapsing was his own fault."
MY: "Isn't it an employer's job to check on the health of their employees? He was in the museum incident and suffered heavy injuries." she said over the phone, resulting in momentary silence.
Fumihiro: "I have hundreds of employees that work under me. I have no time to check up on every single one of them. Now if you'll excuse me, I was in the middle preparing my presentation for a meeting tomorrow." he then hung up on her.
Miss Yaoyorozu was frustrated as she slammed her phone against the table.
MY: "Dam it!" she yells out, as she then takes a breather to calm down, "Were you able to gather any intel on what happened at the museum?" she questions the guard.
Ninja: "Not much. The police reports mostly contained what the heroes did in order to stop the attackers, but there were hardly any statements on who took down the leader. It also stated that the support gear they used was destroyed before the police could log it, making it untraceable to who made them. The attackers were brain dead as well, having only records of past crimes. No other information popped up due to any recordings in the museum being destroyed." the ninja said as he summarized the reports he copied from the police department.
MY: "So there is someone in a higher position than them?" she questions, only making him nod. She thought silently to herself as she was trying to figure out what to do with this new information. "Try to find more clues about these attackers. If they were able to do this much damage to professional heroes for the sake of getting old support gear, some of Yaoyorozu's partners might be endangered as well. Alert my husband as well about this information"
Ninja: "What about the boy?" he questions.
MY: "If I find anything off and it involves Tanaka Corporations, I'll have you gather evidence against them. For now, I'll just make it harder for them to do any business with any branch of ours." as the ninja then nodded off and blended back into the background. "Have they started reaching for Japan as well?". She said quietly as she laid back against her chair until she heard a knock from Nyoko, telling her that she prepared some tea to relax. She let her in as she then enjoyed a small tea break.
Izuku's POV:
Two weeks had passed by and all of my injuries were fully healed. During that time, I was able to study for longer hours and take more notes on any new piece of information I find in news/articles about heroes. I was also able to spend more time with Ichika and Daichi after school. I was able to give Mei the autograph that I had forgotten to give her, which she was ecstatic for. When I went to the Yaoyorozu's household, they were overly cautious about my health, especially Yaoyorozu, but I told them that I was fine. I taught Yaoyorozu like normal and adjusted her quirk training based on how evolved her skills were, but when it came to combat training, I tried teaching her situational awareness by blindfolding her and tried to walk up to her in different directions so that she can discern where an enemy may come from and either uses her quirk or combat ability to neutralize the attack.
But when I came to work at Tanaka Corporations, I noticed Nakamura-san looking troubled by something. When I asked him what was wrong, he chalked it up to him losing money in a bet. I didn't pry further into it since it looked like it was something serious.
When my wounds had finally healed, I went back to training, but on the first day back, I noticed that Daichi was there, waiting with sensei.
Izuku: "What are you doing here Daichi?"
Sensei: "He had a day off from both his martial art class and advanced classes. Today is a good day to see the difference between the two of you." he said with a smirk.
Daichi: "Are you ready for another spar?" he asked, to which I nod my head as we then headed to the changing room.
