Chapter 3: Daichi's Identity

Daichi's POV

As I heard a loud thud, I turned towards the direction it came from, that's when I noticed it was from Izuku. I saw him in a lock that I didn't get to learn until I first entered the blue stage, and here I am witnessing a kid who was younger than me who is teaching himself, although I have a few months of experience.

Daichi: ("Amazing.") was all I could think of as I saw him get up and apologize to others, where others just shrugged it off as I heard them say he was lucky.

I wanted to congratulate Izuku but our sensei got to him first.

Izuku's POV

As I was thinking of ways to improve myself using the technique, I was confronted by my sensei.

Sensei: "What do you think you're doing?" He questioned me.

Izuku: " Oh, I was just thinking about how to improve the lock you taught us." I replied.

Sensei: " So you think you can do better than my teaching, huh!" He said very angrily.

Izuku: " No I was just trying to....." before I could finish my sentence, he used his hand to stop me and signal one of the green belts who looked a couple of years older than me as he rushed over to him.

Sensei: " If you think you can do better, I want you to pin him down." he said laughing as his student got into his stance.

I was scared to fight back, but if I wanted to be a hero, I must overcome any obstacles in my way. So I calmed myself and analyzed the guy in front of me, I looked at every joint, muscle, posture, anything I can exploit to have the advantage. That's when I noticed his left knee joint was somewhat weak, so I went and attacked that area, which to his surprise he fell. Once he was kneeling on the ground, I tried to go for a chokehold hoping to knock him out, but the problem I faced was that I didn't have enough strength to knock him out, so after he realized what was happening, he grabbed me over his soldiers and flipped me over onto the floor on my back and pinned me down.

Sensei: "Hahahaha, not so high are we, as punishment for losing, you are to go against him for the remainder of the class." he said as he looked back to other groups.

Daichi's POV

As I watch our sensei laugh at Izuku after giving him his punishment, I ran up to sensei as I was furious.

Daichi: "How was that fight fair, he faced against an experienced martial artist while he had only just started. Also, what happened about staying in our respective groups." I said angrily.

Sensei: "Kid was getting ahead of himself, he needed to learn his place." he replied

Daichi: "He was only teaching himself since no one wanted to help him, not even you wanted to help him, so after he improved himself, he gets punished." I said furiously.

Sensei: " He's just a quirkless kid, what does it matter to you." he said as he pushed me aside and returned to the other students.

I could only look back as Izuku was getting a one-sided beat down by the green belt since I had no power over what happens in the dojo.

~~~~Time skip to the end of class~~~~

As class ended, everybody lined up to say goodbye to sensei. I looked for Izuku as everybody was packing only to see him covered in cuts and bruises underneath his clothing.

Daichi: "Hey Midoriya, are you alright?" I asked worryingly

Izuku: "I'm fine Tanaka-san, it was very educational." he replied as he continued to pack up.

Daichi: " But you only got a one-sided beat down." I said back to him.

Izuku: " I did, but I also learned new moves that my opponent used and some areas I myself need to work on, such as muscle training." he replied with a smile on his face as he looked at me.

I felt sorry for him, even with his smile showing that he was okay, everybody in the class was against him. I then thought of a way that might make things better.

Daichi: "Hey Midoriya, do you want to come over to my place? I just got the new console that was released this year." I said to him as his eyes sparkled as he looked at me.

Izuku: "Sure, let me just ask my mom to see if it's ok." he replied as he ran to his mom who was here to pick him up.

Izuku's POV

I asked my mom to see if it was okay to go over to Daichi's place, which she agreed to since she was happy that I made a new friend. I ran over to Daichi to tell him it was okay as he shook his head and pulled out his phone to call somebody. We waited outside of the dojo for whoever was picking up Daichi. As we waited, a limousine pulled up and what seemed to be a butler came out and led us in. I sat in the limousine, curious about who Daichi was.

Izuku: "Hey Tanaka-san, who are you?" I finally asked

Daichi: "Right, I was interrupted before I got to tell you. I'm the nephew of the President of the largest support gear distributors." he said as I stood in awe before I shook it off and grabbed my notebook from my bag as I wrote down a page about him. "What are you doing?" He asked.

Izuku: "I'm writing down notes about you, I write down everything about anybody that is either a major or minor figure." I replied.

He just chuckled at me as his driver told him that we were nearing his home. We made a complete stop as the butler got out and led us out of the car, and what I saw before me was a two-story building with a garage to the side of it. Daichi then led me inside his home as he showed me around the place. His home had 5 bedrooms, 2 guestrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, two bathrooms, two toilets, a door to the garage, and finally a sliding door at the back where he showed a pool. I was amazed as I took in all this information. I then heard little footsteps behind me as I saw a little girl who looked two years younger than me as she tackled Daichi from behind.

Little Girl: "Oni-chan, welcome home." she said as she smiled and gave him a hug as he was still on the ground on his stomach.

Izuku: "Eeeehhh." was all I could say.

Authors Note: Hello there reader, I just wanted to say that I changed the way how Izuku and Daichi address each other as I had forgotten Japanese customs in previous chapters. I didn't feel like writing today as well, but I did say I was going to publish today, so I did. The next chapter should be on Friday hopefully. Anyways, thank you for reading.
