Izuku's POV:

I was carried out by Miss Hatsume to the ambulance to get looked at. They said that my cuts and bruises will heal in a few days, while my legs, on the other hand, I can't do anything to taxing on them and it may take up to two weeks to heal. The Hatsumes then got a light check-up as they only had a small scuffle against the villains.

MH: "Now let's get to the car while your aunt gets your father out of-" but she was interrupted by the ringing of her phone.

She happily answers it as she sees who the caller was, but after a while, her face slowly turns into worry. The call ended and she slowly put away her phone.

MH: "That was your aunt. She said he may face jail time due to lack of evidence of him using his quirk for self-defense, so they're chalking it up to vigilantism."

Mei and I were totally surprised by this.

Mei: "What do you mean lack of evidence? We were clearly found near the exit trying to escape and call for help? They were the ones who came and attacked us! Even then, he rarely used his quirk at all!" Mei yells as her face slowly changes into worry.

MH: "That was your father's testimony as well. Even your aunt said that it was conclusive enough to deter him from doing any vigilante work, but the officers in charge say that was not concrete enough." Making Mei worry even more.

I felt guilty. I was the one who told them the plans and that they were allowed to use their quirks for self-defense. Now mister Hatsume is facing the consequences of my actions. I tried to think of a solution that can fix this. That's when I take notice of Mei's goggles and remembered one of the features I included so that it could collect data.

I quickly pulled the goggles off her head as I then tried reconnecting them to the UCS.

Mei: "What was that for muscles?" She complains.

Izuku: "One of the basic features of this device is that it can record things while being in use so that it has data to go off of when it wants to determine things and see the similarities between other objects. The only problem is that due to the limited memory it has, it needs an external memory. Its limit is 3 hours of footage. If I can retrieve what you saw with this, it may be enough evidence to set your father free." I said very quickly as I was in the rush to see what footage would be enough to clear her father's name.

MH: "Are you sure they'll accept it?" She questions, feeling hopeful that her husband can be set free.

I shook my head yes as I had finally found conclusive footage that proves that he was fighting in self-defense. I quickly placed the goggles onto Mei's face as I played the video to see if this was enough to set her dad free. She shook her head yes as I then asked Miss Hatsume for her phone.

MH: "What do you need my phone for?" as she pulls it out.

Izuku: "Normally I'd do this with a computer, but this needs to be immediate if he doesn't want to sleep the night in jail." I said to her as I granted access to the phone to receive data from the goggles.

I clipped a few minutes of footage as I then went to the recent callers, which I assumed the aunt would be the first one on the list. I then sent her the footage.

I then handed the phone back to miss Hatsume as I delete the programming that allowed access to the goggles.

Izuku: "Now all we have to do is wait and go-" but loud applause erupted from the bystanders who were behind the police tape.

I looked to the front to see what all the fuss was about, only to see LH coming down the steps of the front of the museum as he waves and smiles at the people.
