Chapter 106: An Odd Feeling

Izuku's POV:

The last thing I knew was seeing the guy who kidnapped Yaoyorozu-san talking about how he was able to counter me with my own sleeping drug, proving how I underestimated them and how I failed miserably.

There was only darkness. I was trying so hard to open my eyes but my eyelids felt like someone was holding them down.

Izuku: "Yaoyorozu-san!" I screamed out and jolted my upper body upwards as I was finally able to open my eyelids, but as my eyes settled in, I realized I was back in my room.

I looked around me to see all my Pro-hero merch being displayed around the room, with most of it being All Might, but something seemed off. I didn't have my notes posted on the walls, the blueprints I left laying on my desk were now replaced by a series of figures. I began questioning where I was; although it may have looked like my room, it wasn't the same as I left it

Before I could ponder any further, I heard mom calling me for breakfast. Still being wary about why things looked different or even how I got here, I went along with what was happening as I got dressed and went to the dining table.

Inko: "So how's my baby boy?! Did you enjoy your sleep?" she said cheerfully as she pinched my cheeks and started shaking them, making me laugh slightly. "It isn't like you to sleep in.", she said while she put me in my seat and served breakfast "Your dad already left for work so I'll be the one who'll drop you off."

Right before I could take the first, my eyes widened as she mentioned something that was completely off.

Izuku: "Dad's home? Did he come back from working overseas?" I questioned, which gave her a confused look.

Inko: "What are you talking about? Your dad never went to work overseas, he made sure to choose a job that was close to us." which made me drop my chopsticks as I was shocked to hear that, "Is something the matter?" she questions.

I didn't know where I was, but it wasn't the place I knew. I wasn't sure if I was in a simulation, a different reality, a different timeline, or whatever, but I knew that the people who were behind Yaoyorozu-san's kidnapping must be the ones behind what's happening now. But before I could think past that, my mind started getting hazy, staticky; my memories started getting jumbled up as memories I never had were starting to overwrite the current memories I had.

Inko: "Izuku, what's wrong?" she questions as she quickly crouches down to me, trying to check up on me.

Izuku: "Nothing, Nothing. Just couldn't believe I slept in so late." I said with a laugh at the end as I then picked up my chopsticks and started eating with the look of joy on my face, which put a smile on my mom's face as well as she went back to the kitchen to clean dad's dishes.

After I finished breakfast, I went to my room to grab my bag as I then waited by the door, excited to go to school. I called out for her, telling her that I was ready, which I then saw her rushing over from the kitchen as she was untying the apron and hanging it on the coat hanger before she grabbed her keys and extended her hand to me for me to grab before we left through the door.

I was both happy and excited for school; I was doing well so far on my assignments and I would have so much fun with the other kids. But as soon as I was at the front gate of my school, my body became somewhat tense as I watched all the other students head inside of the school.

???: "Hey Nerd!" a familiar voice called out to me, making my body even tenser for some unknown reason.

I slowly turned my head to see that it was Kaa-chan who was with auntie Mitsuki. I don't know why I suddenly became afraid of him as he got closer, but when he did, he had the most confused look on him.

Katsuki: "What's wrong, nerd? Aren't you happy to see me?" he says with a smile, which left me with a weird impression at how he was smiling at me, even though I see him smile every day when we hang out together.

Mitsuki: "Katsuki! How many times do I have to tell you that it's rude to call him that." she pulls him away and crouches down to give him a lecture.

I just giggled away as this sight was a common thing. I then said goodbye to mom before she went back home. I entered the school grounds, where I was greeted by many of my schoolmates, excited to start the new day, although I still had a strange feeling that something wasn't right, but I was too thrilled to put much thought into it.

I entered the classroom, where everyone noticed me, which suddenly got me thinking that something bad was about to come, so I braced myself for the worst, but everyone looked cheerful to see me as they all walked up to me to greet me, making me question why I was preparing for the worst when everyone here was my friend.

I spent a long time talking with my classmates, catching up on what we did after school, but when it got to me explaining what I did yesterday, I didn't have the words to say what I did since any recent memories were all fuzzy to me. I tried my best trying to remember what I did after school yesterday, but nothing came to mind. 

Katsuki: "What are you side characters doing crowding around my best friend?!" he yells out to the class as he wraps his arm around me and pulls me away from the other. "You guys know that he can't handle that many people surrounding him right?" he looked furious and glared at all of our classmates.

Quickly, a wave of apologies erupted from the crowd as they slowly dispersed, leaving me alone with Kaa-chan, still not able to get rid of this strange feeling in my stomach.

Katsuki: "Come on, class is about to start" he then drags me to my seat and then takes his seat, which is right next to my desk.

I don't why things should be different than they are now, but at the same time, I didn't want anything to change since everything was going so well.

No One's POV:

As the teacher came into class, happy to see everyone, and started doing roll call, a dark ominous figure can be seen outside of the school, stalking Midoriya from behind a tree.
