Izuku's POV:
I violently woke up, covered in sweat as my breath ran hagrid. My clothes were soaked in sweat as my head was throbbing as if this nightmare was different compared to any other, but I still couldn't figure out why these nightmares occur or why I can't remember them.
I looked at my digital All Might clock to see that I had woken up an hour earlier than expected. I used that time to clean myself as I took a moment to clear my head.
No One's POV:
Akane can be seen licking her lips as she was typing on her PC. Her eyes reflected the light from her monitor, having eyebags underneath them. Despite her room having been clean two days ago, her table was slowly piling up on empty energy drinks and a few to-go boxes.
Hiroto: "I take it that you had a wonderful dream?" Hiroto questions from her bed as he was reading a textbook about medicine, noticing the quick lick from his peripherals.
Akane: "You know me too well." she said in a cheerful mood as she giggled, "Something worrying happened to him and the nightmare made it more traumatizing, making the screams ever more delightful," she says with glee before her face regained its focus on the screen.
Hiroto: "I'm surprised the boy hasn't turned yet. It's been about a month already." he says in an unamused tone.
Akane: "No worries, just like the coding for this firewall, it will soon break down as it all becomes mine in due time." As she continued breaking down the code that she managed to take away from the firewall code, inspecting every line to get a grasp of how it works and how she could make it hers.
Hiroto creases one of the corners of the page he was reading on and closes it. He got off the bed and walked towards her behind, as he carefully grabbed the trash on her desk, making sure to not block her view.
Hiroto: "And you should learn how to keep yourself tidy. I won't always be here, you know." as he continues picking up and piling it up on his other arm.
Akane suddenly stopped typing, frozen in place.
Akane: "Don't say that." she says with pain in her voice as her hands start shaking, "You're all I've got left." as her voice quivers while her entire body starts shaking.
Hiroto soon realized his mistake as he quickly patted her head.
Hiroto: "Don't worry. I'm not going anywhere." he did his best trying to shift his tone to sound caring, but it only sounded monotone, making him worried that she might think that he doesn't mean what he says by his words.
But his words and patting did soothe her as her body slowly stopped shaking. She cleared her throat as her eyes looked slightly watery but still looked cheerful.
Akane: "Good! Cause what good is a sidekick to a boss if they don't stick around to the very end." she said as she smiled and giggled, which got a subtle smile back from Hiroto.
Izuku's POV:
A few days had passed, leading it to be Friday. I continued receiving lessons from Suzuki-san, added to my other lessons from sensei and school, but I managed to remember enough to get by. I haven't been able to see Daichi in a while, probably still trying to get the presents ready, but there's a tiny inkling in me that I'm glad that I don't have to see him, but I don't know why.
After training with sensei, being fully recovered, I headed to the meet-up with Mei, carrying a box of materials. She's been helpful in helping me rebuild more drones, but she sometimes adds her own twist to them as she has her inventor tendencies, either by adjusting the speed module, adding electric shock guns, or increasing the drone's strength to lift up an object. All of which has overclocked the drone's circuitry, drawing out more power from the battery pack than the drone can handle, causing it to go crazy and soon combust. I hope that today isn't one of those days.
Mei: "Hey Muscles!" she called out to me as she waved her hand, having her own box of stuff.
Izuku: "Hey!" I yelled back to her as I then placed the box of materials for the drones, "Ready to work?" I asked her, to which she replied with a muffled yes, "And no altering the drones without my approval?" to which she stood perfectly still, not even bothering to blink, "Mei?" I ask once more with a little bit of worry in my voice.
Mei: "Sure. Whatever you say." as she put on her birthday goggles and started going through the materials while I sighed in response as this is how she always responds before doing her own thing.
I let it slide, for now, just had to be wary of when things go south. We worked silently, back to back, which was weird as Mei would start making loud noises by now as she added something not part of the original design.
Izuku: "Is everything alright?" I asked, which didn't get an immediate response as there was a brief moment of silence.
Mei: "Your birthday is coming up soon right?" she questions.
Izuku: "Yeah?" I answer back, slightly confused.
Mei: "Are you having a party?" she asks again.
Izuku: "Yeah. With Suzuki-san, Daichi, and Ichika." which got her to jump from her spot as she grabbed onto the sides of my arms.
Mei: "You got to invite me." she said as her eyes shined, "I am already acquainted with them."
Izuku: "I'm not so sure if-" I was going to turn her down gently but her eyes showed that she was going to come, whether she was invited or not. I then sighed as I gave her my response, "Okay." which got her to smile as she released me and jumped in excitement and victory, "But please contain yourself when you see them, " I said to her, which didn't seem to get to her as she was to busy celebrating, making me sigh as I resumed working on the drones.
