Izuku's POV

I watched Daichi tense up when I mentioned the video.

Izuku: "I found a video where your dad was describing how cool the gauntlet is." I replied to him, in a much quieter tone since I was scared I said something I should not have as I was looking at the floor.

Daichi: "I want to see that video when you come over to my place." he said in a much serious tone.

I couldn't say anything but only nod at him as he went and changed since classes started. I was so worried that I did something wrong to Daichi that when our sensei gave my group a new technique, my mind was clouded to think of ways to improve it, so I followed his teachings exactly as he said, which sensei just smirked at, thinking that I was finally obedient while I heard others just scoff at me saying how they lost a punching bag. Classes ended with me just following sensei's lessons and Daichi waiting for me at the front door.

Daichi: "Do you have the support gear on you?" he asked me when I approached him in a cold tone.

I shook my head no and said that I left it at home. He said we will visit my place first when his driver arrives to pick us up. When his driver arrived, he told him to stop by my place first as we sat in the car quietly the entire time, not saying anything to each other. When we arrived at my place, he told me to grab the support gear and quickly, so I rushed back to my home as I knocked on the door where my mom opened the door.

Inko: "Sweetie? Why are you here, aren't you supposed to be at Daichi's place?" she questioned me.

Izuku: "Daichi needed me to bring something over to his place so we can play with it together." I said in a cheery tone, not trying to worry her.

She let me in as I rushed into my room to quickly grab the support gear from my desk and ran back to Daichi where he was just looking outside the window. The car ride back was again silent, with Daichi seemingly a lot on his mind. When we got to his place, his sister ran up to him with a big hug.

Ichika: "Come play with me Onii-chan." She said with excitement in her voice.

Daichi: " Not now Ichika, but tomorrow I'll play with you all day when I get back, okay?" he said to her in an apologetic tone as he crouched down to give her a hug.

Ichika: "Okay, but remember you must play with me tomorrow?" she said sadly as she walked slowly back to her room.

He looked at her feeling sorry that he made his little sister sad but he then looked back at me looking serious again.

Daichi: "Let us go to my room to watch the video." he said to me in a cold tone as he raised his hand waiting for me to grab it.

I grabbed his hand as we slowly walked into his room and he locked the door behind us. He asked me to show the video to him, so I pulled out the UCS from my bag and pulled out the video. When the video started playing, I saw him starting to get teary-eyed as he saw his father being so enthusiastic about this support gear. When the video finished, he looked at the ceiling with his right hand covering his eyes as he started laughing.

Daichi's POV

When the video started playing, I saw my dad being so excited to show off the support gear that Izuku brought with him and I started to cry a bit since it's been so long since I heard my dad's voice. When my dad said the date of when the UCS latest model was last modified, I stood there in shock as he continued to explain more about the UCS. When the video ended, I couldn't help but just laugh seeing as how my uncle threw out one of dad's greatest inventions he has ever made and mistaken it as a scanner.

Izuku: "Ar... Are you alright Daichi-san?" he asked me as I looked back at him looking like he was scared of me.

I realized how cold I acted towards him throughout the day, so I punched myself in the face to punish myself for how I acted towards him. I look back at Izuku who looked worried for me since I just punched myself out of nowhere.

Daichi: "Yeah I'm fine, also sorry for how cold I treated you for the day." I said to him as I bowed to him, feeling so stupid and apologetic towards him.

Izuku: "It's fine, I was worried I did something wrong which made you upset." he said somewhat happily knowing that I wasn't angry at him.

Daichi: "I wasn't mad at you, it's just that I haven't heard my father's voice in a long time. So when you said that there was a video of him on the UCS, I sort of lost it, I have nothing left of my father besides news articles and the support gear that is in the garage, so when I heard that there was a video of him, I didn't know how to feel, so I'm sorry how I acted towards you again." I said to him as I bowed once again.

I didn't hear anything until I heard footsteps run up to me as I saw Izuku give me a hug.

Izuku: "I'm sorry too, I didn't know your situation, I was just excited to show you something I thought would make you amazed by it." he said to me as I saw a few tears run down on his cheeks. I gave him a hug as I circled my hand on his back, telling him the same thing over again, telling him that it was fine and I'm sorry. After a while, we let go of our hug as we looked at each other with smiles on our faces, feeling that we have just gotten closer than we did over the past week.

Izuku: "So, do you want the UCS back, it seems pretty important to your father?" he asked me.

Daichi: "Nah, you can keep it. My dad made support gear so that he'll be able to save more lives. Besides, it feels way too complicated for me to use since it's not fully completed yet due to a lack of programming, and I know you'll make the most out of it, I've seen how smart you are, don't think I haven't noticed how much you improve during your spars and how easily you used the support gear that's in my garage." I said to him as I smiled, I then saw him blushed, embarrassed by the compliment he just received as he tried to look away.

Izuku: "So what do you want to do now?" he asked as he looked back at me as I still saw a slight blush on his cheeks.

Daichi: "Do you want to play some video games?" I asked him as he nodded with excitement.

We spent the remaining time playing games before he had to go home. After my little meltdown, it felt like I gained a little brother.

No one's POV

As Izuku returned home, he was back to his normal self. Two weeks passed by as Izuku continued his normal schedule, on weekdays, he would do workouts in the morning, increasing the amount he does by 5 each week, along with some studying before his mom called him for breakfast, after he was done eating, he would do some research on heroes before it was time for his martial art classes. He returned to do what he usually does, improving the move his sensei taught him, which he was not happy about but other students cheered as they got their punching bag back, where the sensei would choose one of the students to spar with Izuku as punishment, which Izuku gladly accepted as he was improving more and more with each spar. As classes ended, he would hang out with Daichi at his place, but if he was busy with his sister, he would mess around with the support gear in the garage. On weekends, he would just mostly study and research more about heroes, academics, anything he could find to improve his knowledge that may be useful to him. By the end of the two weeks, he was smart enough to do university-level lessons, along with heavy knowledge of programming and physics, he was still working on biology and chemistry. Everything was fine until the last day of the two weeks he spent, one week before the martial arts competition. His sensei called Izuku out of line when classes began.

Sensei: "Izuku Midoriya is hereby kicked out of the dojo today, pack your things and leave." he announced to the class.

Izuku/Daichi: "WHAT!?" they yelled out loud, surprised.
