Izuku's POV:

MY: "Honey, we can talk about this." as she stood up from her seat to walk over to her, but before she could get closer, she ran off.

Izuku: "Yaoyorozu! Wait!" I yelled as I tried running after her but Miss Yaoyorozu put her hand in front of me, stopping me before I could pursue.

MY: "Let her be for now. I'll send someone to watch over her since she can't go far since this area is surrounded by fences. How about you go home for now while we sort this out." she said with a sigh.

I knew Yaoyorozu's circumstances well, so I understood how much of a shock and how painful it was when she heard that I was hired to dismiss her dreams of becoming a hero. I grabbed my bag as I then left the room, passing by Mister Yaoyorozu.

Izuku: 'What have I done?' I thought to myself.

I blamed myself for causing this situation to escalate. I was hired to change her mind about becoming a hero, instead, I only gave her my full support after hearing her out. I then lied to my boss, which Yaoyorozu overheard and believed to be the truth, which may have ruined our friendship.

I walked out through the front door to see some servants assisting in picking up some daily necessities and luxuries that the delivery truck came to drop off. I was going to ignore them and continue my walk back to the train station until I heard something from the driver.

Driver: "So, which servant is the lucky lady or gentleman that has their kid living here?" he asks as he hands over a box of supplies.

Butler#?: "You must be new. No parents are allowed to work at Yaoyorozu household since they don't want to take up too much time away from their children. The only children here would be the young miss or the tutor my masters hired." he said to him as he took the box of supplies away from him.

Driver: "Really? Then that must have been the young miss you're talking about who ran past the gates as I tried driving in." which made all servants and myself stop as we took in the information.

Butler#?: "Could you please repeat that?" he asked worryingly.

Driver: "Yeah, I saw this young girl with a black spiky ponytail running past the gates right as it opened." he said to them, unknowingly what it meant to them.

Butler#?: "Call the bodyguards! The young miss is on her own and has escaped the premise. We must alert the master and mistress about this!" He calls out as everyone had dropped everything to find Yaoyorozu.

Driver: "What's wrong with the young miss going out by herself?" he questions.

Butler#?: "She hasn't been outside by herself before. She always had someone drive her places, so she isn't aware of the layout that surrounds us." He said to him quickly before he left to alert the Yaoyorozu.

I had wanted to help as well but I was told to go home and I know that Yaoyorozu won't be happy to see me after what I said. I reluctantly went back home, hoping they would find her the next day.

When I got home, I saw that the place was empty since I got home early while my mom was still at work. I went to my room as I then took a seat on my bed before I laid down on it, feeling ashamed for what I did to Yaoyorozu. I had no motivation to do anything else, so I slept for the remaining time of the day.

The next day, I went to Tanaka Corporations for the other part of my job. I saw Nakamura-san in the lab working on some prototype for some leg armor, but I didn't say anything to him as I went straight into work. After about 15 minutes in, he stopped what he was doing and swiveled his chair to face my back.

Satoshi: "Is something the matter?" he questions.

Izuku: "No." I immediately responded back with, which only made him pull his chair closer to me.

Satoshi: "Midoriya, I know something is wrong. I can see it on your face." he said to me as he got closer. I sighed as I then turned my chair to face him.

Izuku: "I may have ruined my friendship with Yaoyorozu-san. She heard that I was hired to change her mind about becoming a hero and everything I've done so far was only a part of my plan, but I secretly went behind her parent's back as I really intended to train her in preparation for her to become a hero." I said so quickly in one breath.

He nodded slowly, trying to figure out what I had just said before he could respond. His eyes widened as he then looked around the room before he got closer to me.

Satoshi: "What you just did was really idiotic. You not only broke your contract and went behind your employer's back, but built a friendship based on a lie." he whispered to me with concern. I only looked down, ashamed since I already knew what I did was wrong. I heard him sigh before he placed a hand on my shoulder. "I can see you're already reflecting on it." but I didn't look back since I knew what I did was wrong, "Honestly they shouldn't have hired a child to do something like that." which made me look up as he backed away.

Izuku: "Th-Then what about this job?" I questioned.

Satoshi: "This is different. This is a hands-on experience to familiarize yourself with various support gears and applying whatever you learned to other support gear. But what the Yaoyorozus hired you for, it shouldn't be a child's job to crush another child's dreams, it should be no one's job." he then leaned back against his chair as he then sighed, "Who's idea was it to even hire you for that in the first place." as he started rubbing his temples in exhaustion before he straightened himself up, "What I'm trying to get at is that the blame isn't solely on you, so stop blaming yourself as if you're the main culprit. Although you were hired with ill intentions, you proceeded the job with goodwill," as he then placed a hand on my shoulder and looked me straight in the eyes, "When you meet her, sincerely apologize to her. Although it may take time, she'll understand later."

Although I don't believe that she'll ever forgive me, I wanted to believe in his words. I nodded back to him as I knew what I needed to do. She may not want to see me right now, but I have to go to her to explain myself before it is too late.
