Izuku's POV:

The last thing I remembered was hearing Yaoyorzu's voice, then after that, darkness. I had awoken in a very dark place, with the only source of light being above my head. I looked around to see if there was anyone around me, that's where I found someone similar to my height far into the distance.

Izuku: "Hello?" I called out to them, only to be ignored by them.

I tried walking towards them but I felt the ground underneath me wobble as I took my first step. I looked beneath me to see that a bridge had formed between me and the other person, with one of the ropes cut off.

???: "Don't try to crossover." the person on the other side of the bridge said to me.

Izuku: "Why?" I question, only for them to glance over their shoulder.

That's when I met his pine green eyes glow as I felt chills go through my spine while he exuded hatred and anger.

???: "You are more liked than me." was all he said before he looked forward again, away from me.

Izuku: "What do you mean by..." I suddenly got a headache as my vision started to blur.

???: "I shouldn't have come out." was all he said as everything started to darken.

I slowly awakened to an unfamiliar ceiling as the only thing I remember was tutoring Yaoyorozu.

Izuku: "What happened?" I asked myself as I slowly got up as my body ached all over and I had a throbbing headache.

I looked around to see a few servants in the room as one of them had left the room. I was told to not move much and wait here while the head butler and the Madam were on their way to my room.

Arakawa: "How are you feeling?" a man around the age of Suzuki-san asked me as he came towards me and checked my pulse and breathing.

Izuku: "I feel fine." I told him.

MY: "Don't lie. We already know about the bandages." Miss Yaoyorzu said as she had just entered the room, causing me to sigh.

Izuku: "My body aches all around and I have a massive headache." he placed a hand over my head to check my temperature.

Arakawa: "After effects of overworking your body. It's not healthy for a boy your age to already experience being overworked. How did you even do it?" he questions as he gets up from the bed.

Izuku: "I didn't overwork myself. I just stayed up later than usual while working on some stuff." I said to him, causing him to shake his head.

Arakawa: "Be careful not to do that next time. You're still a growing boy, so take better care of yourself." he said to me before he walked over to Miss Yaoyorzu and whispered something to her before he left.

MY: "You made my daughter scared for dear life when you collapsed in front of her. Even made her cry." She scolded me.

Izuku: "I'm sor-"

MY: "Don't apologize to me. Apologize to my daughter." making me feel more terrible about myself, causing her to sigh once she saw my gloomy self before she walked towards me. "We may have initially hired you to change our daughter's mind about becoming a hero," making me feel even more guilty about what I was initially assigned to do and how I went against their backs, "and becoming a tutor was a plus. But you are more than someone that we hired for her, she thinks of you as a friend, someone she trusts. How do you think she felt when she found out that you were hiding your pain from her?"

Izuku: "Isn't it any different from me keeping it secret to change her dreams of becoming a hero." I unconsciously said out loud.

MY: "That's different." she said angry, surprising me as I had accidentally blurted it out, "What we are doing is protecting her because we know the dangers of becoming a hero. She already has a safe and secure future as the heir to the Yaoyorozu company, we don't want her to be in any danger." she complained out before she sighed, "but I can see why you think that they're both the same. But what you just did wasn't for anyone's benefit. You only put yourself in danger with those injuries."  she said back to scolding me before she got off the bed. "When you are able to, apologize to her." before she left the room.

I was left there wondering if I should have told them about my injuries so that there wouldn't be this big of a commotion. I looked at the clock at the corner of the room to see that 3 hours had passed while I was unconscious. I then heard the door slowly creak open, where I saw Yaoyorzu peeking through.

Izuku: "Yaoyorozu." I was surprised as I tried to get up from the bed but I struggled to do so, causing Yaoyorzu to come running to my aid, "Thanks." I said to her, leaving only silence between us.

There was a minute of no interaction between us until she finally spoke.

Momo: "W-Why-" she started off as I turned to her, "Why did you hide your injuries?" she asked as she felt hurt.

Izuku: "I didn't want to worry you." I answered her.

Momo: "Aren't we friends!" she yelled, "Isn't the whole point of being friends is that we got each other's back. How am I supposed to have yours when you don't tell me when your hurt." she said sadly, "When you said I could count on you in your song at my birthday, I thought you also counted on me as well."  she said even more sorrowfully as she fiddled with the necklace I gave her.

I felt even more guilty that I made her feel this way.

Izuku: "I just wanted you to see you happy." I said back to her.

Momo: "You think hiding your pain makes me happy?" making me feel more guilt, "What happened if it was really serious and you hid it from me." she said, sounding like she was on the verge of crying.

I immediately hugged her to comfort her.

Izuku: "I'm sorry. I promise I won't ever hide anything from you that'll make you like this again." I said to her,

Momo: "Promise?" she questioned, causing me to hesitate since I knew I was going to break the promise since I had to keep the fact hidden of my original purpose for being here.

Izuku: "Promise." I said back to her as I backed away from the hug as she looked a bit more cheerful.

We passed the time by talking with each other, giving her some lessons academically and physically, as we tried to let what happened pass.
