________________________If you asked him of how used he was to sleep through a bunch of uncomfortable noises, he would typically shrug and brag about how easy it was. Because he was used to hearing all sorts of things at home, from yelling, to screaming, moaning, groaning and the sound of bottles hitting the floor and shattering. But one thing he was unfamiliar with, and is making him uncomfortable for how that noise continued to echo through his ear drums constantly..was the sound of slow beeps.
Dot...dot...dot.
In such an order it made him sick to the head, confused trying to reminisce back to what happened earlier at school. He could physically feel wires beside and on him, he could feel the mask that helped him keep his breath stabilized, he could feel a grip around his pointer finger..it all was so unusual for him.
To how he could hear stuff being rolled around, how he could hear footsteps constantly, how he could hear all sorts of machines working, telephones ringing. All those noises he was not familiar with.
A place that wasn't home nor school.
As he slowly blinked open his eyes, staring directly I to a bright littet ceiling, completely white and drained from all sort of colour like his skin. He couldn't help but to turn his head upwards, making eye contact with the bothering sound that penetrated his eardrums over and over again, was a machine he typically only saw in films.
Vitals?
That was the only question that scurried through his mind as confusion lingered heavily upon his body, how his mind raced with question as to why he was located in a hospital room.
He could feel the pumping of his heart increase in panic as he looked around, hoping to find a person in which could perhaps answer the many questions that invaded his brain out of free will. He sat himself up, glancing at his arms that had on IV drop in, a clasp around his finger that littet the color red, dangling stabilized from his index finger. He grasped around the mask around his mouth and nose, letting it sit on his thighs. As he took a deep breath.
"Oh- well goodmorning Jeongin".
Jeongin's gaze quickly shifted to the sudden presence of one female specimen and a male who walked into the room, quickly making their way towards him.
"How'd you know my name?" He questioned first, ignoring the rather kind gesture of them greeting him with warm smiles.
"Your teacher Mrs.Jung if I remember correctly, provided your basic information to us, since we couldn't get in hold of your parents" the doctor answered, sitting down on a rolling stool beside him.
"Where is she? Mrs.Jung is she still present here?" He asked, tilting his head as he glanced at the nurse who checked in on his vitals.
"She left a while ago actually, don't worry, we will be informing her of your wellbeing if you grant us permission to do so" the doctor smiled, before taking out a chart and reading it carefully for a brief moment. "But let's get to the serious part, shall we? Your teacher explained what she experienced secondhand from when you fainted earlier, and we would like to note down how you felt before you fainted..it will help us shortening out certain possible causes as to what could have went wrong".
Jeongin gulped.
Wrong? He can't afford to be wrong. He has to go home and apologize for being absent and not performing his duties at home..he can't take another round of beating, he can't make his father angry.
"Jeongin? We really need this information" the doctor spoke, making him nod his head, signifying he understood the sudden task he had to perform. "How did you feel before you passed out specifically".
