"You just twist this side around, pull this one under, intertwine it with the twisted lock..and tadaa, you have a star" Hyunjin cheered, showing off the perfectly executed star.

Jeongin looked down at his own, only seeing the crumbling paper and the weird edges all around. He sighed, feeling a bit jealous by the latter's talent.

"Yeah, this is impossible" he grumbled the paper, throwing it in shame as he held his head in his palms.

"No it's not, it's called process. You just need to do a little eye measure mathematics" Hyunjin chuckled, earning a snicker from Chan who drew doodles on his paper, not daring to attempt Hyunjin's impossible creative space.

"I can only do math when I'm tracking calories" he joked, getting a few quiet stares at his response. "It's just a joke".

"Maybe you could put that..oddly specific talent, to use with other stuff?" Hyunjin proposes, grabbing the paoe of scissors to cut off the lingering end to the star he just made.

"I'll prefer staying in for my comfort zone on this one" he sighed, feeling slightly let down by the fact he failed at such a task. He compared his own doings to Hyunjin's..how could he get it wrong?

He was always the best of the best. He never saw failure before now. It shattered his brain into puzzled pieces, he couldn't really think logical on such terms.

"We gotta explore the world someday, this is just a small silly thing" Chan commented, locking eyes with the younger for a split moment.

"There's no use if I'm not good at it. If I'm not the best, then there is no reason to attempt, it's just setting myself up for failure, and it's horrible" he sighed, fiddling with the crumbled paper he got back a few seconds ago.

"It's not setting yourself up for failure though..if you aren't good at it, then you just have to start somewhere. It's impossible to be perfect in every aspect" Hyunjin proceeded, handing Jeongin a new piece of paper. Sliding it across the table till it was infront of him, reassuringly tapping the white paper to motivate the younger. "We'll do it again, practice is what makes perfect, no one is born to be capable of doing everything".

Jeongin sighed, not feeling like continuing the craft he didn't succeed in. He wanted to feel that satisfaction when he got a perfect score on a test, attempting to make his parents proud even if they wouldn't spare a glance at him.

They never hung any of his drawings of grade papers on the fridge, they never commented in particular on his grades. But deep down he knee they were satisfied, cause he wouldn't get punished if he did get good scores on tests, and that was what motivated him to keep going.

But this was different..he had no one to satisfy, but himself. He had no one to tell him or signify the fact he did well, atleast that's what if felt like.

"No thank you, it's not for me" he mumbled, attempting to push away the piece of paper, only for his hand to accidentally hit Hyunjin's.

"That's okay, if Chan is done soon, we could take a stroll through the hospital?".

"I'm not allowed to exercise though..last time I walked a decently long distance, I blacked out".

It was visible how his mood obviously decreased, how he went from sticking out his lip in concentration to pouting in frustration.

He genuinely believed he was boring. He didn't even know why people like Hyunjin and Chan would spend time with him, it felt useless. He wasn't anything but a hopeless attempt.

"I'll be back" Chan spoke, standing up from his seat as he left the room in a hurry.

"He's mad, isn't he?" He questioned, lowering his head in insecurity.

"I've seen him mad a lot of times, I think I can confidently assure that he is not bothered a tiny bit..he'll be back in a minute".

Jeongin pressed his lips into a fine line, feeling the worry exploding within him. He felt guilty for the fact he couldn't entertain them, that he had to be so sick to the point he couldn't move a muscle.

The emotions that kept pulling his body till he curled up into a ball, rocking himself back and forth fo comfort himself. But of course he couldn't show that weakness in front of Hyunjin. Hyunjin was a different type of breed belonging to humanity. He was so good at whatever he did, Jeongin felt envy bit inspiration all at once. And no matter how difficult he saw himself as, they would comfort him, saying it wouldn't be so bad.

But deep within, he felt so guilty for taking so much time away from their daily lives. They were trying to survive too..they should be praised too.

"Hey Jeongin, are you listening?" Jeongin snapped his head as soon as he heard Chan's voice, feeling so relieved to the point he could sprint knowing the older was all okay.

"I am now.." he smiled softly, standing up as he glanced at both of them.

"Well take a seat then, you don't need to exercise while walking around the hospital when we have this" Chan chuckled, rolling a very unflattering wheelchair inside the room, almost making him laugh at the idea Chan had.

"In no way I'm sitting in that, don't you think this tube makes me look horrible enough already?".

"But you don't look horrible just because something is saving your life, this chair has nothing to do with your disorder..let just say you are lazy, or wants to be carried in a big carrige or some shit" Hyunjin encouraged, pushing the younger forward until the back of his knees made contact with the wheelchair. "We can't guarantee safety, but I can promise that if you get in trouble, we would be in much bigger trouble"
