Aftermath.
_______________________"Do you like fruits?" Chan asked as he carried the younger out of the bathroom and back onto the newly made clean bed. In fact, they had just woken up about 20 minutes ago. Leaving them both with tired and sore muscles.
"Chan" Jeongin looked at the older who hovered above him in seconds, laying him on his stomach.
"What?".
"Are you planning something behind my back?" Jeongin asked as he tried to look over, but Chan told him to simply not worry.
He felt something cold come in contact with his skin, shivering as Chan smeared the cold product over his skin. Chan's main focus seemed to be located at the younger's lower back, hence why the majority of the pressure and presence of Chan wonderful hands seemed to be in all the right spaces.
Jeongin beyond doubted getting offered such an awakening experience after what happened yesterday. His face turned red by just thinking about. He didn't feel as much pain as he had anticipated walking around with. At his parents' house, he often heard painful screams and slaps, but yesterday was nothing but blissful. Even the morning after, Jeongin had no anticipation to be taken this well cared of. Having the man of his dreams above him from behind, providing the most comfortable massage he has ever experienced, was probably the most endearing, if not the most, trusting sensation ever.
He hummed as he felt the pressure being applied following his spine upwards and downwards with his thumbs, his eyes shutting close comfortably.
"I thought..maybe why not make today just a day for you and me to enjoy? We can cuddle, eat some delicious food, watch a movie..anything you like" Chan proposed, rubbing at the back for the younger's neck.
"I don't like the food part" he mumbled, fiddling with his own slim fingers in front of his face.
"That why I was thinking fruits as a light snack for us to enjoy together. I really like sour fruits" Chan worded, trying his hardest to make the topic the most convenient and comfortable for the younger.
"I like berries...any berries" Jeongin mumbled, not as enthusiastic about it as Chan, but for the older, it was enough.
"My dogs name is berry" Chan laughed, bringing his hands back down to cup the younger's butt. "She is back in Australia, probably being bothered the shit out of my sister at home".
He laughed at what Chan said. He didn't remember much detail about Chan talking about a dog or a whole different country. But it amazed him, knowing that Chan had so many sides of him that he still probably was going to meet and acknowledge in the future.
"Have you ever mentioned that to me before? About Australia?".
"Hm..I'm not sure..but I've talked about Australia a lot with Hyunjin. He has always wanted to go someday, exploring the cities and the wildlife too" Chan smiled at the memory as he massaged the younger's shoulders.
"I miss Hyunjin" he mumbled, wondering how the older was doing. If he was out of the hospital, staying with a family member. He wondered whether if he was lonely alone or if he got a new roommate.
There were so many thoughts and questions, but he knew one thing. Hyunjin wasn't the type to just back down without a reason. Illnesses had nothing against him.
"I wonder how he is doing" he pouted.
"I might have heard from a little birdie that he is done with his treatment this week...and that he might come to visit some day in the near future".
"Is this my cue to say that you sound ridiculously stupid saying that?".
"Excuse you, I think my way of wording that was phenomenal" Chan stated in an offensive tone, sitting back on his knees with his hands against his chest, just to pretend he was hurt.
"It really wasn't that great" the younger laughed, turning around as he embraced the older who huffed in response. "But what is great will be some clean and comfortable clothes" Jeongin stated as he smiled, wrapping his arms around the latter's neck.
The feeling of being content within himself and genuinely comfortable with another human being felt like the most influential thing in the whole entire world. To be there with Chan in an apartment with four loving walls, instead of a home with brittle, busting walls that held history of torment and abuse, was absolutely phenomenal. His entire journey to simply reach this part of himself took a lot of trial and error, and in the end, he managed to push through that tiny hole only the eye of a needle seemed to fit through perfectly.
It was a lot of adjusting to do. Knowing that Chan was healthy and happy made him feel ten times better. Knowing that Hyunjin was recovering steadily was a miracle.
So yes, what if he didn't have his parents' guidance anymore? What if he didn't have the hospital by his side. He still had Chan, and most likely Hyunjin, too. He had nothing to worry about, at least not according to his schedule.
"Oh yeah? But we both aren't going anywhere today" Chan smiled back, tracing his index finger against the younger's stomach. "Might aswell stay here, in bed, enjoying each other's time" he chuckled, kissing the younger on his lips, causing him to laugh softly as he carefully pushed Chan away.
"Chan, what are you implying?" He asked, holding back his laugher. He could feel the goosebumps on his skin, the slightly cold breeze from the open window, and the lingering touch of Chan's hands and kisses on his body.
"That I may or may not have gotten enough of you yesterday..I might need to take a few bites to get used to the taste" he breathed against Jeongin's neck.
"And you are ridiculously arousing".
"And you need help with that problem, it's only good that I am right here" Chan exclaimed, holding onto the boy beneath him tightly as his lips attacked the younger's neck.
