CHAPTER 130

JARED'S POV

"I told you, there's something wrong with her." Portia said.

Prian is looking at me directly in the eye. As if naman hindi ko alam ang dapat gawin. I already knew there was something wrong with her. Hindi naman siya magiging tahimik nalang ng ganun. I just want to ask her a few questions.

"What really happened while you were in the bathroom?"

She touched her forehead and thought. I also had a hunch that something might have actually happened while Portia was in the cubicle so she didn't know what was going on outside. But it is impossible that she did not even notice.

"That's right. When I came out of the cubicle I saw Michelle with her friends. I think they did something to Jaz."

"Michelle Evans?" I asked.

She nodded.

"Threatened?" tanong ni Prian.

She nodded again.

"It seems like that. I haven't noticed anything different about Jaz before. She's just been quiet since I got out."

"I'll talk to her."

Pinigilan ko ang balak ni Prian.

"Let her be."

"But...."

"I'll take care of it."

He could do nothing but go back to his seat. Later, he also bowed to his desk and sleep. I left some more words for Portia before I sent her away. Then I thought of putting the notebook on my face.

Just a few minutes later I felt someone pass behind my seat so I knew it was Jaz. I didn't even ask where she was from because I already knew where'd she go.

I just need to know from her what really happened while Portia was in the cubicle. Hindi ko rin pwedeng palampasin ang babaeng may gawa niyan sakanya.

Damn this problems! I'm sick of it!

Damn you! Julian!

"Wala nga kaming alam!"

"Hindi na siya nagpapakita saamin! M-maawa ka, Jared!"

Hinigit ko ang kwelyo niya sabay suntok. Sinipa ko rin ang isa na nagbabalak tumayo.

"I won't ask again. Where's Julian?"

I punched a thin man. Then I wiped my hand.

"We don't know where he is!"

"Tanging si Jacob lang ang nakakaalam kung nasaan si Julian." sagot ng lalaki.

I looked at Prian who was smoking sitting down to match the man's height.

"Kami ba pinaglololoko mo? Jacob's face is crushed so Julian's men are watching over him. They're just together in the same place."

Biglang napaiyak ang lalaki. They are really doomed and a liar. I can't believe they are risking their lives just for that bastard's safety.

"Take us to his whereabouts." Prian said.
