CHAPTER 137

PRIAN'S POV

"If you gonna put her down, be gentle!" galit na sigaw ni Jared.

He chuckled.

"Sorry, I just did what he said."

I knew he was talking about me. Ako lang naman ang nagsabing bitawan si Jaz. At nagawa rin naman ang plano kaya hindi ako natatakot na gawin niya 'yun.

But it almost killed me when he did let her go. Sa totoo lang talagang kinabahan din ako. Akala ko rin hindi pa handa ang nasa ibaba.

"Aren't you satisfied and did you feel sorry for that woman?" Jared asked.

Julian remained silent and answered nothing to Jared. Soon his face suddenly became serious.

"You're right. I'm not even satisfied yet and I want to remove them both from my path."

"I don't care about your anger. I care about that woman and her brother."
sabi ni Jared.

He laughed out loud at what Jared said.

"Really? Do you care about those two siblings now? I guess it's surprising what you're saying now, Jared. You seem to be getting gentle."

He took a small step to approach us. Jared didn't move and just stared at Julian. I know what Julian is referring to. It's about what we did.

"Did your conscience change you?"

My eyes narrowed because of that. I was going to attack him but Jared stopped me so I held back.
Julian laughed again and looked at me sadly.

"You're pathetic, Ledesma. Will you just let yourself be Jared's tail for life?"

Inis ko siyang tiningnan, "What did you say?!"

"Isn't it because you're with him to get help to fight the gang you're fighting now?"

"I don't know what went through your mind, Julian. I don't need help to fight the gang you're talking about."

Jared looked at me but I didn't look back at him. He knows me. No matter what happens, I won't ask for help from him depending on if we're both against that gang.

"You don't really know me yet, Julian."

"Why don't you introduce the real Prian Ledesma to your classmates? Are you going to hide like that for the rest of your life? Aren't you tired of being kind?"

If only Jared hadn't been here to stop me I would have punched this man in the jaw earlier. I don't really like what comes out of his mouth at all. So maybe Vince hated him because of his wickedness.

"If Vince hadn't died. Is this how we still treat each other? Fighting against each other?"

We were stunned by his question. Why did he suddenly ask that thing?

"It's not us who have changed but you, De Lavin. And even if that person is alive, you were really bad in the first place." said Jared.

"You did this to me. Don't be clean up, Prescott. Why do you talk so much when you don't know anything? Didn't you make me believe you protected Vince even though you actually left him?"

"What did you say?"

"It's true, isn't it? He died because you weren't by his side. He died because of you. You two became selfish and you left him so he died."
