PRIAN'S POV

I poured my glass a beer as I looked at Jared. Nine came with a serious face. He immediately took the glass I'm holding and drink it.

Descent we waited for what he would say.

"I said I would only talk to Jared."

"What is it you want to talk about?" Jared asked.

"It's about Laurent."

"Spill it. Prian already knows about him."

Nine turned to me. He couldn't believe I already know that.

"How? You know he's conspiring with Julian?"

I don’t know about that yet but I know he’s meeting with Julian. And I didn’t expect my guess to be right.

"What did you find out about him?" Jared asked.

"When we went to Jaz where Julian took her, we saw Laurent come out of that same place. He was carrying a briefcase so I expected money to be there but I'm not sure ..." Nine said.

"Continue."

"..Elle told me to follow him and I did follow him. He stopped at a house but I don't know who. Then I came back because Elle called me. I also found out about that abandoned mall from them so they connected that's our suspicion. "

Jared didn't answer. Maging ako ay hindi rin nakapagreak ng dapat gagawin. I don't want to rush into our actions. We still needed to talk to Laurent to answer our question.

"WE need to talk to Laurent."

Madilim na kaya umalis na kami ni Nine sa lugar ng pinag-usapan. Nagpaiwan naman si Jared. I want to stay but he pushed me to go home so I could sleep and rest. Ayaw ko pa sana dahil baka may kung ano na namang mangyari but I couldn't help but to let myself go home. Malalim na rin ang gabi and I know my sister is waiting for me. Ayokong mag-alala na naman siya't isipin pa niyang kasama ko na naman si Jared. She always scold me whenever she founds out I am with him.
