# Ship Version

For a long time, the Halloween Empire grew unknown to the mortals that lived out of the Dark's dimension. For a long time, they sought the destruction of the guardians that Light placed in the three gates of the dimension. And for a long time, they tried to free themselves and get their revenge against Light... Unsuccessfully. But they knew their time was going to come someday, mainly when the scientists of the battlecruiser Haima discovered special magical properties in the blood of the living beings: They can create electricity, they can heal... But above all, if correctly done, they discovered they can negate all magic spells as well as render other warships absolutely useless for quite a long time. Even after Haima's defection, the Halloween Empire continued on this promising research, discovering a way to create shells using this blood and a way to synthesize blood without extracting it from Halloween people as subjects. They knew, however, that the creation of the magic-denier shell alone wouldn't be enough to stop the guardians and whatever Light has done in the human's dimension, so they build a powerful battleship to destroy anything that the humans have, anything that would protect the Halloween's enemies, named after the day they lost everything and the day they will get everything back: October 31st.

It is a battleship with a very powerful main armament of six triple 58 cm guns, but what's dangerous about them is the best wizards and witches of the whole Halloween Empire, placed inside the main guns to add spells to the shells, varying from the famous flame shells of the Mummy cruisers to unknown spells that will certainly bring chaos. The main guns also hold small storage of the magic-denier shell, but the guns that really use it are the 40 twin mounts of 12.7 cm dual-purpose guns, interchangeable with flame shells, prototypes of toxic shells copied from the guardian Naja, and shrapnel shells. Other guns also include eight twin mounts of 21 cm guns, accompanied by a strong absence of AA guns that are just ten triple mounts of 40 mm guns and 12 single mounts of 10 mm guns. October 31st has also four triple torpedo tubes of 533 mm, all equipped with acoustic-guided bonesaw torpedoes while in the bow, it also features a motor saw for ramming enemies, though it's hard for the ship to ram anything at all.

In many aspects, the ship is said to be the very combination of many Halloween ships: On the aft, it has a small hangar for flying brooms and enhanced bats that are better than the ones trained aboard the Dracula carriers, not afraid of strong lights, and they can all carry the payload of Jack-o-Bombs; the funnel of the battleship can have the "Creator of Sand" spell active or inactive, creating sandstorms above the waters at will; Eyes of Naara were placed on top of the third and fourth turrets, the highest in position for the main guns, allowing it to see enemies in the mist, in the middle of its own sandstorm and others; Similarly to the zombie cruisers, the October 31st can also let a trail of red, but it's a dark-red colored oil, that can be set on fire by a shell explosion, controlling the positioning of the enemy, possibly inflicting damage and making the sea look like it's on fire as if this was hell. This oil is also very toxic and has a high skin penetration capability, intended to be used against the Kraken battleship; It can also hold two abyssal submarines on the hull, released when needed during the battle, but so subtly that the enemies might not notice the threat until it's too late; Lastly, but maybe one of the most important things, the warship has a few parts made out of skeletons: the outer armor of the midsection and part of the bow. The skeleton core installed on the ship allowed the quick repair of those parts, even while in the battle, thus improving the battleship's survivability (check the Skeleton class destroyer for a better understanding of the Skeleton Core).

Speaking of the battleship's own uniqueness, October 31st is more than just a combination of other ships and doesn't carry only the magic-denier shells. First of all, but not the most important, the battleship is very auto-sufficient, providing food for all its sailors quite easily through magic and having fuel through the blood of the animals and enemies they capture, but the same can't be said for ammo, that forces the battleship to have a resupply of those earlier than it needs a resupply of food. Besides, it's hard to see non-Halloween creatures and habitants when sailing, so blood is actually hard to be used as fuel for the battleship too. Secondly, the battleship's crew and commander are part of the elite troops of the Halloween Empire, using magical necklaces that allow them to have full control over their wolf and human forms, allowing themselves to transit between the two forms while still retain their thinking and a certain thirsty for blood and violence.
