# Ship Version

The Halloween dimension was a land very hard to live in for both the Dark and his followers and this was caused mainly by the amphibious reptiles that every once in a while come from the seas and invade the lands of the Halloween Empire, destroying everything on their path. They were named Sea Dragons and despite their vibrant and beautiful colors, they warn the people that the danger is coming and they are usually together in groups of four or five Sea Dragons. They were an obstacle to further development of the Halloween Empire for a very long time until it was discovered that the Sea Dragons could not stay on dry land for too long, if they ever feel dry they have to come back to the seas or they will die. Wizards and witches then learned a spell that makes the target dry and it was very often used to send the Sea Dragons away. Most of them died in the middle of the way back to the seas. When close to finishing the battleship October 31st, the Halloween Empire felt in need of warships that would protect the so special battleship and so they had an idea to create a warship similar to the gatekeeper Kraken, with a creature inside. The creatures selected to be used were the Sea Dragons, who were tamed violently by some and kindly by others... After years of training and treatment, eventually, the Sea Dragons became loyal to the Halloween Empire, some more than others because of the kind way they were treated. After that, they started to live in a huge water tank inside battlecruisers, whose class was the Sea Dragon. Only three battlecruisers were built in total and are named after something related to the colors of the Sea Dragons they have inside, the first was Celestial Sky, the second was Red Shrimp, and the third was named Sea Weed.

The battlecruiser of the Halloween Empire was armed with three triple mounts of 35.5 cm guns, located two forward and one on the aft and it was accompanied by six twin mounts of 21 cm guns, four twin mounts of 14 cm guns, 16 twin mounts of dual-purpose 11.5 cm guns, eight singles mounts of 8 cm dual-purpose guns, two quadruple mounts of 50 mm AA guns, six sextuple mounts of 45 mm AA guns, 24 triple mounts of 25 mm AA guns, 12 singles mounts of 8 mm AA guns and, lastly, but not least, four 550 mm quintuple torpedo launchers. While it had no magical peculiarity on any of their guns, the torpedo launchers were equipped with the Bonesaw torpedoes, firstly developed to be used by the Skeleton destroyers and then by the Abyssal submarines. They are torpedoes that pierce through the enemy warship armor and only after the commander ordered, it explodes... The order should be given carefully since if pressed too early it might not explode on the target and too late the torpedo might have already gone through the whole warship. For reconnaissance, two seaplane catapults on the aft could be used to send two recon seaplanes, which can be equipped with light bombs and depth charges if there's a need for those.

Although the intention of building this warship was that the Sea Dragon supported the warship in its fights, the Sea Dragons could do close to nothing while the ship was afloat. The Sea Dragon worked more as a contingency weapon aboard the warship, that will charge against the enemy once the battlecruiser is destroyed. To make sure that the creature wouldn't be wounded by shellfire or enemies torpedoes, the battlecruiser had very strong armor and torpedo protection - probably only losing to the October 31st and Headless Horseman on those aspects - but a high price was paid, reducing the warship speed to close to 29 knots, which was actually not so low given the tough armor. For defense as well, however, they have something very special called the "Link Barrier Spell". When two or more of the battlecruisers of this class are within range of each other, they can create an invisible barrier that's linked between them. The barrier does not let anything from torpedoes, shells, planes and bombs go through it, protecting anything behind the barrier but the reverse is also true, allies cannot fire back and allied planes have to dodge the barrier as well. The battlecruisers participating in the barrier, however, are not protected by it and can fire back at the enemy freely.
