So, in this story there will be many graphic and horror elements. George lived in the US when the apocalypse happened. The radiation wasn't from Earth, it was from outer space. Some survivors believe it was aliens or extra terrestrials, but nothing has been proven. Due to the unworldly radiation, many things can be happening at any time, reality is warped. Some plains have lightning storms over them 24/7. Oceans can appear out of no where, and buildings will sometimes fall and glitch, to look fully rebuilt. Hallucinations are normal and weather is insane. Some things just multiply randomly, and the chances of having power and water wherever you go are 50/50.
