Nick opened his eyes to see Karl looking around again, and he noticed that everyone was gone. "Ok, who are you, and do you know where everyone went?" Karl took a deep breath and faced the ravenette. "I'm Karl, and everyone is gone, they vanished." Nick looked around confused for a moment before just sitting down. Nick motioned for Karl to join him. "Ok, please explain what's going on because I am very confused." Karl sat down and took a deep breath. "Almost a year ago I woke up to being the only person any and everywhere, I've been on my own for a long time but when I hit my head I woke up around people."
He took another breath, "Then we came out here, hit heads again, and now I'm back where I was, alone, except you're here now, and I don't know why you're here, or how you got here."
Nick was staring at Karl like he was insane. "So let me get this right? Everyone is... gone?"
"I don't know but how the hell are you here with me?"
Nick just sat there looking at Karl.
--- Karl POV ---
How is he here with me?
Then Karl saw a white flash, his breath was sucked out of him and his head felt like it was under an ocean of pressure when his eyes closed and when he opened them again only a second later he was in the middle of a corn field with a very confused looking Nick in front of him
