Hearing Minho's footsteps enter the room, I looked over at him and waved, "Hey."

"Whatcha reading?"

"School shit. When'd you wake up?"

"An hour ago. I got high in the meantime." Minho chuckled, sitting down on the other side of the couch and opening up his phone. "Don't mind me, I'm just bored as shit."

"You can come lay over here, you know," I said, taking my reading glasses off.

I'm getting old, aren't I?

"You look so cute whenever you have those on."

"Fuck off. I'm getting old and blind. I used to have perfect vision."

"If you're old, I'm ancient," Minho said, getting up and walking over to me.

I looked up at him, "You're only two years older than me and I act much more mature than you."

"You're also dramatic as fuck, so. Hah. Take that," Minho joked, getting on top of me and laying his head in lap while hugging me.

"Seriously, though, I've never felt any gap in age. I don't think of it much."

"I don't either."

"Do you think we would've gotten along in high school?" I asked him.

"Pre or post-Chan?"

"Well, if we're thinking about it in technical Americanized terms, I would've been a freshmen when you were a junior. That would've been post-Chan, right?"

"Let's just do college then."

"How were you in college?" I asked, grabbing my bookmark from behind and putting it in between the pages I'd been reading.

"I was the toxic chill guy but conceited as hell too."

"We wouldn't've gotten along. We were too much alike." I said, setting my book down on the floor.

"Mm, probably. I can see that."

"I think we met when we were supposed to."

"I feel complete having met you."

I set my book down on the floor and hugged him, "I love you."

"I love you too."

"I decided not to go over to Avalon's tonight. You can if you still want to but I need to study."

Minho chuckled, "I don't want to be anywhere you aren't. Plus, I wasn't feeling it anyway."

"Why?"

"Are you sure you want to know?"

"I don't know, do I?"

"I don't want to be the boyfriend that manipulates you into distancing yourself from all of your loved ones so take this with a grain of salt but I don't like any of your work friends except for Kimi. Even then I'm not really sold."
