"This isn't exactly the most conventional way I've ever met a person, but I'm not mad," Niyah shrugged.

"You said you wanted to be involved in my shit? Here's Felix," I said, stepping out from in front of Felix and revealing him to be sitting in the bubble chair behind me.

"Are you calling me 'your shit' like I'm a turd?" Felix joked.

"Damn, that's a deep ass voice!" Nelson exclaimed. "Kimi, I might have to cheat on you with this beautiful man."

"Is he Australian?" Avalon asked me.

"Nelson, I might have to cheat on you with this beautiful man," Kimi said, staring at him with her jaw on the floor.

"Yes, you are a turd," I joked, sitting down next to him. As everyone still stood staring at him in awe, I swatted at them, "Sit, my children. Sit. Gather around the campfire, I've got a fucking story."

"The fact that you showed up with someone else on your day off and pulled us out of our work just to talk to you is fucking ridiculous. Are you not going to mention why that was so necessary?" Veronica asked.

"Do you really think I'd do something like that if it weren't some kind of emergency?" I asked her. "This is like, the biggest mess of all messes."

"You're dramatic as fuck. Continue."

"Would you like to start this off or me?" I asked Felix.

"I'll go first," Felix said win a smirk. "So, I feel like Han has probably told you this because we never shut the fuck up about each other but we met online in middle school. We're very close and we have been since. We tell each other everything and there's currently only one secret being kept between us that I wasn't even made aware of until a few weeks ago but that's beside the point. I know all about Minho's shit and how he only became friends with me just to try to figure out my friendship with Han or whatever the fuck. The other day, Han and I are having a sit-down conversation discussing our options on figuring out if our suspicion is correct and we come to having him look at Minho's phone."

Felix pauses and I pick up where he left off, "His passcode was easy and he's a narcissistic asshole so he uses his own app the most out of every one he has. I go in to look at his messages and somehow the most recent chat log is the ticket because I see this motherfucker talking the craziest amount of shit I've ever heard someone say in my fucking life. I'm talking some of the most horrendous shit you could possibly say about a person. The language they used was absolutely filthy and then by the end of the conversation he starts talking about how he wants me to fuck him like he didn't just say the nastiest shit in the world. I'm so far beyond disgusted, I can't even."

"What did he say?" Avalon asked in concern.

Felix paraphrased, "He called me a prostitute, a whore, a junkie, stupid, and said that I'm cheating on my boyfriend as if I'd ever do that when I'm literally trying to buy a fucking house with him. Why would I buy a house with someone I'm cheating on if I'm not even fucking married to them yet? That's like, the dumbest shit ever. I'm not fucking stupid, either. I have my Bachelor's. I can't exactly defend myself against the other shit, though."

Felix began to laugh and I reached over to slap his shoulder, "You're not a junkie or a prostitute, shut up."

"Yeah, but I used to be," Felix said.

"That was a lifetime ago. You've grown so much since then," I said to him. "You're so strong."

"People change," Nelson said in defense of Felix. "That's fucking sick, I'm so sorry, man."

"Who even says that about a person?" Avalon mumbled.

"I've done my fair share of shit-talking but mentioning someone's past addictions and their troubles is just..." Niyah exhaled sharply. "That's so fucked up."
