The man again did as he was told. He separated the battery from the phone and through both into the flowing river just steps away from the green bench. Before he was seen by anyone he disappeared into the night.

PHIL

Before I am even fully awake I could sense an added weight on my lap. I slowly feel for it in the darkness, to get a sense of what it is, when I realize that she had rested her head on me once she had fallen asleep. I myself stayed slumped over against the back wall my head millimeters away from the silver handle that I had already almost hit my head on numerous times. Pain is now throbbing down the length of my back from the utterly uncomfortable angle. I try sitting up a little straighter, careful not to move too quickly and disturb her. I couldn't help but wonder what time it is and knowing that my cell sat in my front pocket I got the temptation to take it out. I slowly eeked my left hand down my side and attempted to fish out my phone from my left pocket. It took a little adjustment, the pockets opening near my waist not easily accessible at this positon, but eventually I grabbed hold.

I pressed the top button and am instantly blinded by the light, even with the screen's brightness at its lowest setting it still was an obtrusion in this deep darkness. The phone read the time being almost 4:30 A.M. I could hardly believe it it looked as if I actually had a signal.

I scrolled through my phone for Erica's cell quickly dialing it.

Ring. Ring. Then silence.

"Phil?" She asked sounding as if she was half asleep.

"ERICA," I yell on accident. "Erica." I said now more quietly. "I'm stuck in an elevator in my building help me. Help m-" But she didn't say a word. I looked at my phone and touched the button but the battery had already died.

I could hear Kate murmuring though not understanding her words. 'Phil?" She finally clearly muttered.

"Kate." I said with a smile.

"Yeah?" she answered back sounding just as tired as Erica had.

"I got a signal."

"What?" She said sounding surprised and more awake.

"Yeah. I got a signal and I called Erica." I said feeling extremely happy.

"So she told you she was coming to get us?" She asked.

"Well I know she picked up the phone but it died."

"But you know she heard what you said?"

"Yeah. I mean I think. She must have heard me."

"That's great Phil." She said getting up from my lap and sitting beside me.

"What about your phone?"

"It died hours ago." She says a yawn cutting through her still tired words.

"But we will still be saved." I said rejoicing. "Everything will be alright."

Then out of nowhere she straddled me. She leaned forward and somehow found my lips in the darkness, kissing them longingly and carefully. At first I wasn't sure how to react, wondering if it was actually even happening but I instinctually lean into the exhilarating touch. My hands glide slowly up her sides, ending up in her long strands of flowing locks. My fingertips graze her scalp and I can't help but to massage and form small circles with my fingers. She even lets out a small moan, vocalizing her pleasure and I couldn't help but add even more passion with my kissing, my tongue now dancing with hers.

Without words she starts pulling at the bottom hem of my shirt and I quickly take it off, her hands immediately roaming my bare chest. I didn't even have to reach for hers before she herself was already peeling it off and throwing it across the elevator.

Though my mind drowned with questions of desire and confusion I physically couldn't stop myself from continuing my indiscretion.

"Oh." She moaned softly as my lips ticked at her neck leaving a small trail of kisses.

Then her hands started to gracefully start to move closer and closer to my waist.
