By the time Monday came around I was packing up my bag throwing it over my shoulder walking out of the house seeing Griffin waiting for me like old times. Billy also decided to join us as he popped up waving at me giving me a big smile.

"Hi Billy, hi Griffin" I greeted them standing between the two boys.

"Hi (y/n), glad you're finally out of the hospital" Billy said like all his worries just washed away at that moment.

"Me too I couldn't stand lying around in bed or dealing with Vance" I joked while playing with the strap of my bag. I was kind of missing out hanging around Vance who brightened up my days spending in the hospital even if he was a slight jerk. The boys laughed a bit as we made our way in the school. Everyone's eyes were on us as whispers filled the air. It started making me uncomfortable as I moved from one foot to the other. Griffin was staring to the ground refusing to meet anyone's gaze as Billy led us to a more private area. "Are we the talk of the school now?"

"Yeah, every sense we escaped" Griffin mumbled leaning against the wall "they just won't shut there fucking mouths"

"Griffin I'm sure it will all calm down" I said leaning against him wrapping an arm around his shoulder "it will just be a faded memory"

"Yeah, you're right" he said resting his head on my chest as I was towering a bit over him. The bell rang soon though as I was rushing my way through the crowd. Me and Donna had first period together so I was hoping to get there before her so we could just have a chat. Luck was on my side as I spotted her making her way around the crowd. I stepped in front of the door blocking her path as she went to politely excuse me before seeing my face as she became a bit sour again.

"We need to talk"

"(y/n) move out my way I don't want to be late to class"

"And I want to know what's going on with my friend" I said, taking a step away from the door, giving her a chance to decide if she wanted to get to class or skip. She glanced at the door then back to me weighing out her options, a sigh escaped her lips as she turned around walking off to the girl's bathroom. I went after her checking if anyone was nearby, closing the door behind grabbing one of the trashes can leaning it to the door incase if anyone wanted to come in, we would know. "So, what's going on?"

She stayed silent leaning against the wall while I was tapping my foot at the ground waiting for what seemed like a few minutes as she still didn't say a word.

"Are you jealous about me being close to Finn?"

"No" she said, quickly growing angry that I would even mention that idea. But I couldn't understand what else she would be mad at me for.

"Then what is it because last time I saw you was with Finn and you kept glaring at me for getting too close to me" I said, crossing my arms over my chest leaning against the opposite side of the wall from her.

"I'm mad because I didn't feel like a good friend to you when you were struggling before the Grabber took you"

"What?" I question slightly confused as she sighs looking up at me.

"When I tried to help by question about the disappear of Griffin and Billy, you asked me not too so I did and then we started drifting apart and I felt guilt for not being around then when I found out you escape, I wanted to visit you at the hospital, but I didn't think you would like to see me, so I hung around with Finn a lot"

"Donna you weren't a bad friend though you're an amazing friend I just wanted time to my own, so it isn't your fault I know you were trying to be a good friend I just had a lot going through my mind" I said moving closer to Donna holding my arms out as she collapsed in them holding me close. We stayed in the girl's bathroom patching everything up as the bell rang signal first period was over.

"I'll see you later best friend" I said with a smile picking my bag up walking out of the bathroom.

"See you later, bestie" she called out. we both went our separate ways so we wouldn't miss another period as I dropped my bag to the ground taking a seat in the back ready for my day of hell to start.

By the time the finally bell rung I was rushing to the back of the school meeting up with the guys and Donna as I groaned up rubbing my face a little.

"School slowly draining me"

"But you just got back" Bruce said standing next to me laughing a bit as I glared at him.

"It's still draining me" I mumbled walking to the bleachers taking a seat next to Finn and Billy as we all took out of bags working on schoolwork and to hang out a bit longer until we would need to get home. "Finn, you help me out with math?"

"yeah" he said setting down his already finishing stack of homework. he went over each of the answer explain how to solve it while giving me the last two answer. then I went over to Billy to help him out with his drawing skills for art class. the sun started to set as we finished our homework, and I was picking up my things.

"See you tomorrow" I said turning away walking down the street keeping an eye out just in case something bad were to happen.
