chapter one hundred and fourteen

I was sitting in science class next to Finn who held my hand under the table slightly being shy to the whole showing affection around others as I didn't mind as Vance and Robin would almost always have their arms around me or give me kisses here and there but Robin still respect my boundaries when I didn't feel like it Vance though still liked it when he could wrap his arm around me and smirk at anyone who look our way before giving me a kiss. I was finishing up my homework before the teacher came over to me.

"(y/n) your mother here" he said before walking back to his desk as Finn turned his attention to me.

"Want to guess why I need to leave?" I asked him with a slight smile as his eyes wandered around the room a little thinking a bit before shifting his gaze back to me.

"The police station" he said as I nodded my head holding his hand a bit tighter in my grasp before letting it go as I stood up grabbing my things.

"I'll see you and the boys later" I whisper, kissing my hand before blowing him a kiss as I watch his face turn to a cherry red as I let a giggle slip past my lip. I quickly rushed out of class to the front door out to the car as I was greeted with a little surprise when Samson's big block head popped up as he started to bark at me.

"Hey sweetie" my mother greeted me once I got the chance to get in the car without Samson taking the chance to run off as I sat down now being smother in love by Samson who was licking at my face.

"Hi mom, why did you bring Samson?" I asked, petting his head, earning a few licks on my hand as I took my hand wiping it against the seat to get rid of all the slobber.

"I'm going to drop him off at the vet" my mother said as Samson quickly shot up running over to the car door scratching it like his life depended on it as I couldn't help but burst out laughing at his attempt as my mother kept driving till we got to the police station as I thank her before hopping out the car leaving my things behind in the car as she waved goodbye to me before driving away as Samson hop into the truck staring at me with a bit of sad eyes as I felt a prick in my heart for leaving him behind but he did really need to get check by the vet. I made my way up the stairs as an officer came out holding the door for me as I mumbled out a thanks before walking inside. The women worker there noticed me as her slight smile turned to a frown as she turned around in her seat shouting for Max as I took a seat waiting for him. I stared down at the ground avoiding most of the eyes on me as I found myself twirling my fingers on top of each other as I felt my heart beating a little faster while I chewed at my bottom lip.  Max quickly came out as he smiled at me gesturing me to follow with him to one of the questioning spaces as I got up walking after him avoiding the eyes of everyone else till, we walked into the room as I took a seat on one side of the table while Max shut the door behind before taking a seat on the other side. 

"Want a drink?" he asked picking up the little cup of water as I nodded my head taking the cup from his hand taking a little sip from it before setting it down on the table. "How are you doing?"

"Well, if I'm being honesty still scared and pissed" I said tapping my finger on the surface of the table while my eyes wander around the room my mind was swirling as Max noticed.

"what's on your mind?"

"Is Michael going to jail?" I asked him quickly I needed to know if it was true or not. that was the only reason I left him alone because I wanted him to riot in a cell.

"When he turns 18 yes" Max said with a slight smile as relief filled my face "but for now he will be in juvenile detention"

"that's fine I just want him gone" I said taking another sip from the cup for the rest of the hour Max went over some stuff for concern of my safety and an upcoming court which I was not looking forward too as he handed me a couple of sheets of paper to fill in before for the court and to also have my mom sign some things off, I just nodded my head to everything he said leaving as I ran out to my mother car hoping in the back handing her the sheets of paper as she drove us home. I got out of the car quickly grabbing my bag rushing inside with Samson who was sporting a dog cone as I felt bad for my poor baby but had to leave it alone as I ran back to my room searching for something to cute as I took a pair of my favorite jeans, a plain shirt and Billy jersey jacket just in case it would get cold as I also took the switch blade Vance had I guess gifted me as I slip it into my pocket.

"Bye mom I'm going to hang out with the boys" I said making my way to the front door as I waited for my mother to answer back.

"Be safe!" she called out 

"I will!" I yelled back pulling my shoes on as I opened the door walking out closing it behind me. I felt my heart flutter with excitement as I started making my way down the street to the grab and go.
