chapter one hundred and thirty

(Before we start this chapter i wanted to thank everyone for the love and support of the story, and i hope everyone having a good morning, afternoon, evening or night anyways enjoy)

Soon whenever I wasn't hanging around with Donna or the boys I spent more of my time at work because I had nothing else better to do anyways. I sat down behind the register with my sketchbook while Vance was over by the pinball machine again slightly ignoring me. I was slightly humming to the tone of the music when the door rang as I looked up seeing one of my other favorite people as I reached over the counter placing a kiss on Bruce cheek.

"Hi beautiful" he said resting his hand against my hand as I felt my face turning like a cherry as he placed a gentle kiss on my forehead. "How are you doing?"

"Good, what about you"

"Amazing now that I'm seeing you" he said as I let a giggle slip out. Bruce gave me one of his good-looking smiles before walking off to the drinks picking out a few water bottles as he had a game later tonight that I promised him I would go too as he set down the drinks on the counter before walking off grabbing a few more.

"Hey Babe, do you know if Finn is playing tonight?" I asked while ringing up the prices.

"Nope, he and Robin are going to hang out"

"Ah okay" I said while ringing up the last water bottle "okay that will be ten dollars"

Bruce dug around his pocket pulling out two fives as I took them in the machine before taking the water bottles, putting them in two bags as I handed them back over to Bruce as I gave him one more kiss on the cheek before he left as I sat back opening my sketch book again that's when I heard giggles from outside as I looked up noticing out the window two girls one with long flowy brown hair and the other with some curls in her hair as they were talking to Bruce while smiling as one of them reach out touching his arm. I felt something prick at my skin as I looked at the scene before sitting back down biting at my lip to keep quiet as the giggling stopped. Both the girls came into the store as they started chatting and giggling as at first, I drowned it out before hearing one of them say Bruce name as I set my sketchbook down while listening to them.

"I know Bruce is so cute and is the nicest person I don't understand why he would want a slut"

"Maybe he should just drop her already I mean she has five other guys she doesn't even need that many"

I got up out of my seat about to make my way over to the girls when I noticed Vance was gone from the machine as I found him walking up to the girls looking pissed.

"Get the fuck out" he said to them as the girls snapped their heads up to him.

"Why should we?" the curly hair one said as her other friend crossed her arms.

"Because nobody will disrespect my doll now get the fuck out" he said again with a bitter tone.

"You can't tell us-"

"He can't but I can, and I want you two out of here" I said walking up next to Vance as he wrapped an arm around me. The girls were about to say something before shutting their mouths storming out the store as I took a deep breath.

"You okay doll?" Vance said, making me face him as I just nodded my head.

"I'll be okay Vance" I said kissing his lips before walking back over to the register sitting back as Vance returned back to the pinball machine as I stayed quiet for the rest of my shift. 

once my shift was over, I jumped on my bike riding off to the game peddling a bit fast so I could get there in time as I soon came to a stop when I noticed the team coming out to practice for a bit as I saw Bruce walking out. 

"Bruce!" I slightly shouting grabbing his attention as I jumped off my bike running up to him jumping right into his arms as he chuckled holding me up spinning me around a bit. I gave him a few kisses on the cheek and forehead as I wrapped my arms around his neck looking down at him.

"Hey darling" he said kissing my cheek before setting me down on the ground "miss me?"

"Hmm maybe" I said still having my arms around him as he rested his arm around my back holding me close.

"Bruce come on we need to practice!" One of his teammates shouted 

"I'll be there in a minute!" Bruce shouted turning his attention back to me as he cups my face in his hands before giving me a kiss. "I love you" 

"I love you too, good luck" I said before he walked off back to his teams as I made my way off to the bleachers taking a seat just as others were starting to come to watch the game.

"(y/n)" a voice said as I turned my head seeing Amy as she came up to me pulling me in a short hug.

"Hi Amy, how are you doing?" I asked as she took a seat beside me.

"Good, you?"

"Also, Good" I said with a slight smile as I looked back at the game watching Bruce trying to teach a player his tricks on swinging the bat.

"Mom, Dad over here" Amy called out waving her hand a bit as I turned my head seeing Mr. and Mrs. Yamada as Mr. Yamada gave his wife a kiss on the cheek before walking off while Mrs. Yamada walked over to us. "Mom this is (y/n), Bruce girlfriend"

"h-hi" I said holding my hand out to her as she took my hands in her shaking it.

"Hello (y/n) it's nice to meet you Bruce is always talking about you" she said with a warm smile as she pulled her hand back sitting next to her daughter. 

"I hope their good things" I said with a slight nervous laugh while rubbing the back of my neck a little. 

"he's always talking about how your his good luck charm for every game" Mrs. Yamada said as I felt my face started to turn red. Mr. Yamada came over as he held his hand out introducing himself as I took his hand in mine shaking it as he went over sitting next to his wife as they both started to chat about their lovely son Bruce and how much he liked me as Amy was slightly laughing to herself. soon the game started though as everyone was sitting around cheering a bit while I was waiting for Bruce to step up to the plate as he grabbed the bat stepping up as he crouches down a bit raising the bat as the person threw the ball. with one swing he hit the ball sending it high in the air flying a few feet away as he ran over to base one then to two before the person could tag him with the ball as I clap my hands cheering a bit. 

the game kept going for a little while before the couch blew his whistle ending the game as I got up walking over to Bruce as he pulled me close. 

"So, I'm your good luck charm?" I asked with a slight giggle as his face started to turn red. 

"How did you know that?"

"Your parents" I said pointing back to them as they were still cheering for their son as he let out a groan of embarrassment while I had to cover my mouth to keep myself from laughing as I kissed his cheek before walking off getting back on my bike riding off back home as I put my bike back in the garage tucking it away before walking into the house as Samson came bolting out nudging me a bit as I crouched down rubbing his head making my way off to my room before throwing myself on the bed pulling the blankets over as Samson ran into my room curling up at the end of my bed as I laid back closing my eyes.
