About a week passed as I kept checking in with Max as the case went on and he gave me a heads up and noticed that a court trial would be coming up which I wasn't too thrilled about. But if it meant sending Michael away forever, I take that in a heartbeat. The boys started to notice I was growing on the edge as they started to plan a way to cheer me up. I was walking out of math class rubbing my head a bit to ease my headache as I felt my head throbbing in response. I should have brought some ibuprofen with me today for that fucking test I thought as I made my way to my locker grabbing some of the heavy textbook putting them away. Suddenly I felt arms wrap around me pulling me back as I let out a yelp kicking my legs back in response as I felt one of the arms let go grabbing my legs holding them up while resting a hand under my back as I turned my head seeing a familiar face.
"Bruce please put me down" I begged him as he placed a kiss on my forehead before setting me back down on my feet as he dug around his pocket for a minute pulling out two ibuprofens as my face quickly lit up.
"I brought them for you because I now test tends to stress you out a lot" he said while reaching into his bag pulling out a water bottle as he dropped the two pills and water bottle in my hand. I quickly pop them both in my mouth before taking a swig of the water swallowing them down.
"Babe you're a lifesaver" I said, pulling him into a kiss as he wrapped his arms around my waist holding me close.
"Anything for you darling" he said, running one of his hands through my hair as I giggled a bit pulling myself out his grasp as I set the last textbook in my locker before slamming it shut as I turned back taking Bruce hand in mine as we headed to my next class. Just before we parted ways, Bruce gave me a kiss on my cheek leaning down a bit.
"I hope you like your surprise" he quickly said before walking away leaving me standing there a bit like a fool as I started to wonder what the boys could have planned now as I walked into my class taking a seat in the back pulling out some notes ready to start the lesson.
The bell rang as I quickly jumped right out of my seat picking up my bag throwing my notes in without a care before walking off to the lunchroom to meet up with the others as I made my way over to Donna who was saving a place for me in line as we started chatting about the upcoming test for science which I planned on study for over the weekend though I may not.
"So how have the boys been treating you?" Donna asked beaming with excitement as I rolled my eyes playful picking up my tray.
"Like a queen" I joke while walking down the line filling my tray with various kinds of food as I dug around in my pocket handing my money over to the lunch lady as I stood over by the side waiting for Donna till, she handed her money over as we started walking over to our table. I took a seat on one side while Donna took a seat on the other end as we started chatting about the boys while we dug into our meal. The boys soon came over taking a seat around the table as Griffin sat on my left while Vance sat on my right quickly swiping at one of chicken nuggets taking a bite as I looked up glaring at him as he just smirked at me. I quickly finished my tray as I got up setting it down with the other dirty trays just as I heard yelling on the other side of the cafeteria as I noticed Moose charging his way to another table shouting at them. I shook my head walking back over to the table taking a seat leaning my head against Griffin as he gave me a quick kiss on the cheek before going back to eating the rest of his food. Once lunch over I got up grabbing my things walking off to the library for a little bit of quiet as I greeted the librarian before walking over to the back looking up and down the shelfs searching for a book pulling out a classic Stephen king book as I took a seat leaning back against the chair setting the book down on my lap flipping through the pages. the quiet didn't last long though as the doors slammed open as Donna came running in looking around before her eyes landed on me as she ran right over. I quickly shut the book setting it down on the table as Donna grabbed an extra chair pulling it next to me.
"Yes Donna?" I asked turning my head to her.
"I have a question for you"
"what's the question?"
"Do you have a few dollars?"
"Umm yes do you need some?"
"No no no the boys just wanted me to ask you because they are taking you somewhere"
"Oh, do you know where they are taking me?"
"Yep"
"Can you tell me please" I begged a bit as she sat back thinking about it for a minute
"Hmm nope" she quickly said with a smile before walking out before I could try to ask her again as I shook my head opening my book once again sitting back in my chair till, I had to get back to class as I got up setting the book back and picked up my things waving goodbye to the librarian before walking out to science class taking a seat next to Finn as I gave him a kiss on the cheek before pulling out my notebook ready to take some notes.
