chapter one hundred thirty-seven

"Okay done" I said with a slight smile pushing her hair back a bit checking to make sure the wavy's look right while checking her makeup over again brushing back some of the pink before stepping out the way letting Donna have a look for herself.

"Wow" she said with a gasp touching the end of her hair a bit as she turned back to me pulling me into a tight hug. "(y/n) this looks amazing"

"Thanks, but I am worried about how long your hair will last" I said, biting my nail a bit, turning back, picking up the hair spray, shaking the can a bit covering her eyes before spraying it over the top of her head down at the ends giving it one last coat as I set the can down running my hands at the end.

"Thank you (y/n)" Donna said looking back in the mirror while I was putting away the makeup and everything else back where it was. We walked off downstairs as we both took a seat on the couch to watch some show when later I noticed the time, I realized I needed to get back home soon as I got up off the couch wishing Donna good luck on her date as I walked off outside jumping on my bike riding back home. 

Once I got in the house Samson came running up to me barking and reaching his paw up. I looked down at him wondering why he was acting like that when I remember his treat as I ran over to the kitchen pulling the treat bag out of the cupboard handing him one as he took it running off to my bedroom.

"Samson, you know the rules!" I shouted, clapping my hands a little as he came walking back into the kitchen laying on the floor chewing on the bone. "Sorry buddy but I don't want to accident step on it again"

He looked up at me before looking back down focused in his own headspace. I shook my head walking back to my room running my hand through my hair as I search through my closet picking out a new pair of clothes setting them on top my bed as I turned back heading straight for the bathroom taking my clothes off throwing them into a pile. I step into the shower turning the shower on just as it hit me with a blast of cold water. I jumped out of my skin so fast as I react out turning the handle to a more Wamer temperature as I press my back against the shower wall letting my hand out over the running water till it wasn't so freezing anymore. after a few minutes I step out the shower wrapping a towel around myself while walking off to my bedroom closing the door behind me as I threw the towel over my chair. I took the clothes off my bed throwing them on as I sat back on the bed picking up my book resting it on my knees drowning out everything else around me as I flip through the pages. 

By the time it got closer to six Samson suddenly jumped off my bed and started barking, running out my room down the hallway as I set my book down, rolling out of bed turning the lights off as I followed after Samson who was now sitting by the door. I opened the door as Samson bolted out greeting Bruce who stood there with a flower in his hand.

"Ready my darling?" Bruce asked, reaching his hand out to me as I gave him a warm smile, taking his hand as I whistled for Samson as he came running back inside the house. I quickly closed the door behind checking that it was locked while Bruce put the flower in my hair giving me a kiss on the forehead. We started walking out to Mrs. Yamada who was waiting for us in her car as me and Bruce took a seat in the back still holding each other's hand.

Soon we got there as Bruce let go of my hand rushing out the car to the other side opening my door for me. I got out of the car giving Bruce a kiss on the cheek watching his face turn a bit red as his mother said something just for Bruce to whine a bit that I couldn't help but slightly giggle. We made our way inside as I noticed it wasn't packed but it was still busy with mostly teens roller skating along with a few workers that were either handing out skates, cleaning up the mess on the floor and a Dj there playing some music. Bruce took my hand in his as we got in line waiting for our skates when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned my head noticing Billy and Griffin standing behind me with their skates already on as they both gestured for me and Bruce to follow them saying they already got a pair of skates for us as I tug on Bruce's hand a bit, catching his attention as we followed after them. The others were waiting for us as we walked over to the far back corner. I was greeted by kisses as I sat back taking my shoes off while Finn handed me my skates. I took them out of his hands pulling the skates on pushing myself up feeling my feet shift a bit underneath me. Vance was the first to quickly jump in the rink skating off making a ruckus pushing people out his way while Bruce followed after him. Robin stepped in the rink with Finn as they skated off peacefully. Billy was off using the bathroom leaving me and Griffin as he jumped in, turning back waiting for me as I was too busy clinging onto the sides not trusting myself to not slip right on my ass while setting one foot down in the rink then the other. I reached my hand out taking Griffin hand in mine as we followed after everyone us just dancing around in an oval. over the course of the night, I found myself skating around with each of the boys before I was scooped up in someone arms. 

"Okay princess it's getting late" Vance said with a slight smirk.

"I don't have a bedtime pinball." I said laughing a bit as he rolled his eyes.

"We still need to get you home at a certain time" Robin said. I knew he was right as I let out a sigh wishing the date wasn't over yet as I clung onto Vance next as he made his way pushing a few people before stepping back on the floor as he set me down. I took my skates off setting them aside pulling my shoes back on as the others were getting their own skates off. I took the skates walking off to the worker handing them all back as he thanked me. I made my way over to the front door where Finn already was as I took his hand in mine. the others came following by as we started walking down the street to my house as the boys gave me a kiss or hug. I quickly made my way inside the house up to my room where Samson was peacefully sleeping on my bed as I went into my closet picking out a shirt I took from Vance and a pair of shorts pulling them over as I jumped on my bed turning the light off before pulling my blankets over my head as I pulled my pillow closer closing my eyes.
