When Monday came around, I was rushing around the house to get breakfast, Finn clothes that I borrowed, putting on a set of clothes, grabbing my homework and much more as my mother stood in the kitchen drinking some coffee for energy at her meeting and my brother was sitting in the living room throwing a fit because he didn't want to go to daycare. Once I found Finn clothes on top of mine, I stuffed them into my bag then rushed back to my room searching through my closet for something warm.

"Sweetie, come on we're going to be late!"

"Yeah yeah!" I shouted, grabbing a pair of jeans and a sweater, throwing them over to myself as I ran back out to the living room picking up my brother who was still throwing a fit kicking his legs out almost jabbing me in the rib. "Hey now if I have to go to school you have to go to daycare and if you do go, I'll bring back some snacks"

He soon stopped throwing a fit as he rested in my arms. My mother mouthed out a thank as she picked up my brother walking out to the car. I grab my bag following after her locking the door behind as I hop into the backseat of the car with my brother as my mother turns the car on slowly pulling out our driveway and down the road. I turned my head looking out the window as snow started falling again.

When the car stopped, I quickly jumped out running up the stairs inside the school pushing my way past a few girls that were blocking the entrance as they turned back to give me a glare while I turned back to look as they rolled their eyes talking to one another again. I kept walking heading to my locker as I noticed Michael already waiting for me giving me a slight wave as I waved back walking over to him.

"Hi Michael" I said, turning the combination open my locker blocking the view of his face before he walked over to my other side giving me a slight smile.

"Hello (y/n), how are you doing?"

"I'm doing okay, you?"

"Same, I wanted to give you something, I didn't have a lot of money left over but I still wanted to do something nice"

"Oh, what is that?" I question setting my coat into my locker slamming it shut behind as I turned my full attention to Michael while leaning against the locker a bit. He pulled out (f/f) as he handed it over to me. I took a deep breath smelling the petals as I gave a slight smile. "Thanks, these are my favorites!"

"You told me before, but I also got you this" he said reaching into his pocket. Excitement filled my face as I watched him pull out a deck of cards then I grew confused looking down at the cards then back up to him wondering if his gift for me was the deck of cards as he shuffled them around a bit, he looked into my eyes giving me a small smile. "Want to see a magic trick?"

My body became numb. The memories flooding back as a giggle echoed around my ears. My heart started racing as my breathing grew heavy. I couldn't hear anything around me as I pushed myself away.

"No no no" I kept saying as I slipped on the ground suddenly and was still pushing myself away. Then I felt a pair of arms wrapped around me as I looked up seeing Finn as he brought me back up to my feet.

"(y/n) it's okay It's okay he's not here" Finn whispers, pulling me into a hug shooting a glare at Michael while running his hand up and down my back to comfort me. The others soon came along as Vance shifted his eyes to me over to Michael as he noticed the deck of cards ripping them up and throwing them in the trash.

"What the fuck!" Michael yelled out at Vance getting in his face as Vance glared down at him shoving him back.

"Get the fuck away from me" Vance said walking off back to us "come on"

Finn held onto my hand leading me out of the hallway as people started whispering under their breath pointing at me or Michael as we all walked into the library. I sat down in the back as Griffin sat down next to my side while Robin and Bruce took a seat in front of me, and the others went to pull a chair up around the table.

"What happened?" Bruce asked

"Michael was trying to be nice and give me a gift because we didn't go on that date but then he pulled out the deck of cards and then said want to see a magic trick... memories came back of the grabber so I went into a panic I didn't mean too" I said rubbing my arm a bit then my mind started to question I remember I told Michael before about the grabber and how he was a magician so why did he do that? Was he trying to get back at me for the lie? Did he just forget? I leaned against Griffin as he held me close to him as we all stayed in the library till the bell rang. Then I picked up my bag rushing off to class as I noticed Michael jogging up to me.

"Hey (y/n) I'm so so sorry I forgot-"

"It's fine" I said cutting him off "can we please just get to class"

"Of course," he said, holding his hand out for me to take but I just gave him a glance gripping my bag walking off to English as I took a seat next to Donna.

"(y/n) are you okay?" Donna whisper. she must have already heard what was going on as I nodded my head yes giving her a small smile as she quickly went back into her romantic book as I shook my head leaning back against my chair pulling my book out.
