chapter one hundred twenty-five

Weeks had passed since Michael was sent to jail. I could finally release some tension off my shoulders and focus on the more important things now as I sat in class next to Donna looking out the window. Today was the last day of school and I couldn't be more happier getting a few months to do whatever I want and spend more time with the boys. The bell ran as me and Donna raced out of class skipping second period to spend a bit of time at the library so she could drop a few books off but to also talk for a bit as we walked in finding that it was packed as everyone kept walking in and out dropping off their books as Donna got in line while I went over to find a table or a place to sit as I went over to the corner falling back into the bean bag chair while getting a view of the outside world as I dropped my bag next to me pulling out my sketch book setting it on my lap while picking up a pencil twirling it in my fingers. I looked back out the window looking for some inspiration when Donna got back dropping on the other bean bag.

"I hate lines sometimes" she said looking out the window as I let out a slight chuckle.

"Well since it's the last day of school, and nobody wants to pay their schools for any lost books so you can't really blame them"

"I knew I should have dropped my books off yesterday, but I had to know the ending and if she was going to fall for him"

"Did she actually?"

"Nope"

"That's a shame" I said, tapping the pencil against my lip while still looking out the window searching for something when I noticed a woman walking her dog as I quickly turned back to my sketch book drawing an outline.

"Yeah, I can't wait though for the end of the day my mom is taking me to the bookstore after"

"Lucky"

"You can join us if you like, I'll just need to ask my mother"

"Well, I definitely be joining, and I also need some girl time, the boys I love them but sometimes they can get on my nerves like yesterday"

"What happened yesterday???" Donna asked, leaning forward in the bean bag chair.

"I went to the grab and go to get some snacks and of course Vance was their so when he took a break from the pinball machine so he decided to mess with me so when I wanted to get a drink and took the cap off Vance pop up out of nowhere taking the plastic water bottle and it ended up spilling on me soaking me from the top of my head down to my pants while Vance was laughing his ass off" I said as Donna covered her mouth trying to keep herself from laughing as she looked up at me.

"That's cute though I would probably be also pissed if my bf was messing around with me like that" she said while I was still sketching the outline before adding details to the drawing.

"I'm still thinking about getting my revenge on him" I said as we both started to laugh a bit as Donna turned her head as a smirk grew to her face as she pointed out to someone. "Well speak of the devil"

Vance was waiting in line dropping off the only book he had that he probably never picked up as he turned his head smirking at me as I flipped him off. 

"(y/n) don't flip your bf off" Donna said hitting my side a bit.

"Why? he does that to me sometimes it's our way of saying we love each other" I said as she shook her head. Vance came walking over to us as he picked me up with ease taking a seat on the bean bag chair before setting me down on his lap. 

"Hey Donna, hey Doll" he said kissing my lips as I kissed him back before pulling away crossing my arms a bit. 

"Hey Vance" Donna said 

"Hello Vance" I said with a slight smirk as he slightly glared at me "I thought you said you were skipping school today"

"I was but my mother made me come here" 

"Poor you" I said with a slight giggle poking at him as he pulled me closer giving me another kiss before getting up setting me down.

"See you later Doll" he said with a wink before walking away. I went back to my sketchbook while Donna took a book quietly reading to herself.  soon the bell rang as me and Donna quickly got up grabbing our things as I shoved my sketchbook into my bag as Donna ran off to put the book back waiting for me to grab my things as we walk out the library. I made my way over to my next class taking a seat in the back taking out my notebook along with a pencil ready to start class. 

by the time I got to my last class I was already check out and just wanted to go home at that point as I sat down on the bleachers with my sketchbook while Griffin had his head resting against my shoulder while he was reread one of Stephen king books. then when that final bell rang, I quickly got up to my feet almost tripping over myself as Griffin shot up already rushing to get out of gym. 

"Babe wait for me" I called out walking down the bleachers racing over to him as I took his hand in mine before walking out to the hallway over to the lockers as I let go of his hand before running into the girl's locker room to change stuffing the clothes into my backpack before throwing it over my shoulder as I walked out seeing all the boys waiting outside. 

"Hey Darling" Bruce said walking to me planting a kiss on my forehead

"Hey babe" I said standing on my tip toes giving him a kiss on the cheek as I looked back at the others as they just gave me a smile apparently Donna told them that we would be hanging out saving me a bit of time from running around the school looking for them as they also informed me they would all be going to the arcade so I nodded my head giving them each a kiss before walking out the school with them following close behind as I noticed Donna already waiting for me as I gave them each a last kiss goodbye before walking over to Donna as her mother pulled in. 

"Mom could (y/n) come with us to the bookstore?" Donna asked as her mother glanced at me before back to her daughter.

"Sure sweetie" she said as Donna moved over to the back opening the door letting me in first before taking a seat next to me as her mother drove off to the town dropping me and Donna off. 

"This is going to be fun" Donna said walking into the bookstore motion me to follow her as I quickly walked in. quickly the smell of wood overwhelmed my nose as I looked up almost gasping a bit looking up and down the shelfs where a whole wide range of books were displayed.  

"wow" I mumbled walking down the aisle while Donna ran over to the back of the store picking up a few books while I kept walking around checking some of the books knowing I probably bring Griffin here and maybe the others if they wanted too as I followed after Donna while we explore around the rest of the store.
