The next day I stayed away from my mother being cautious trying to act cool as she kept giving me a passing glance. I was going to visit Robin again with Finn this time so we could all talk like old times, but I just needed another plan this time to go out without mentioning it to my mother. Thankfully my wishes were answered but at a sort of cost.

"Can't you just send him to daycare!" I yelled out stomping my way through the hallway.

"No, I can't. they're closed for today, it will just be six hours that you need to watch him" my mother said, applying some lipstick on fixing her dress a little.

"But-"

"No buts you need to stay and take care of your brother just for today" she said rubbing my head a little before walking out the door to my dad jumping into his arms as he took his foot shutting the door carrying her off. I swear I could barf at their cheesy romance. My brother started giggling jumping in his highchair reaching his tiny hands out to me as I shook my head picking him up.

"Baby brother, I need you to listen to me, we're going to see my friends, but you have to be quiet about it not telling mom and dad" I said putting a finger over my mouth as he mimicked my move. I raced off into my room, setting him down on the bed searching around in my closet for any good clothes to wear pulling out a plain t-shirt and some ripped jeans pulling them over myself checking my brother every second hoping he would tumble himself off. He giggled, clapping his hand a little, grabbing my blanket, throwing it over himself as I chuckled, pulling it down. "Peek a boo"

He squealed, reaching his hand back out to me as I scooped him into my arms, strolling my way into his room picking a nice outfit for him as I struggled to put it on as he kept trying to kick at me. I started to question myself why I was doing this again till the phone rang distracting my brother as I finally got the outfit over picking him up sticking my tongue out walking to the kitchen picking the phone up.

"Are you bailing out again?" Robin asked, smirking over the phone as I heard a slight chuckle on the other end.

"Never on my life, I got a surprise for both of you"

"What's that surprise?" Finn asked stealing the phone away from Robin as he started shouting out.

"You'll just have to see" I said, hanging up the phone so they wouldn't bombard me. I glanced over at the time so I knew when to get back before my parents could come home as I took the spare keys shoving them in my pocket, heading out the door holding onto my brother for life.

Once we got there, I walked past the lady by the front desk waving my hand as she didn't give me another glance knowing I was coming by again just for the same reason or maybe she was too busy reading the newspaper to give a shit. I stepped in the elevator holding my brother out as he pushed the right button then started pressing the other buttons as I pulled him away.

"Your evil" I whispered, hoisting him up a little. He just giggled trying to reach out to press more buttons as I held him tightly. After a few minutes we finally reach the floor as I step out heading off to the cafeteria first looking for the boys with no one in sight, so I assume they were in the room but when I check there nobody was around. I started to question where the boys were until I heard someone shouting from a far as the two idiots ran around the corner rushing off playing a bit rough. I stepped into the room so my brother wouldn't see it but also whatever they were doing I didn't want to be seen with them. Finn came running in first clutching his chest a little out an adrenaline kick as his body was shaking.

"What the fuck happen to you?" I question setting my brother down on the bed since I didn't want him crawling around the floor with how many unknown germs there were.

"Me and Robin got bored waiting for you, so we wanted to race each other"

Now that makes a lot of sense.

Robin came running in a minute later closing the door behind laughing his ass off. "You should have seen that one nurse she got so mad, oh hi (y/n)"

"Hi Robin"

"So, what's the surprise?" they both asked. I smirked, turning my back to them picking up my brother holding him out. Finn was the first one to adore him as he was good with handling babies a lot. Robin was staring at my brother for a minute before joining alongside Finn. I took a seat in one of the extra chairs taking my brother back as we all started to discuss the police station when we wanted to be questioned.

"I just want to do it before Halloween I'm not missing out on the best holiday" I said leaning back into the chair shifting a bit trying to get comfortable.

"I almost forgot about Halloween shit it's been that long?" Robin asked, rubbing his neck a little.

"Yeah"

"What do you plan to do for Halloween?" Robin asks as the conversation suddenly shifts from serious things to not so serious.

"Stay in eating Halloween candy watch horror movie"

"We should all do that"

"Y-yeah" Finn said, a little nervous, giving me a glance that reassured me he wanted to join even if he might be scared.

"It would be nice let's do it but first, what day do you all want to go down to the police station?"

"Griffin and Billy don't mind, Vance I didn't get an answer" Finn said

"Let's just do it next week?"

"Okay" they both said as I looked at the time picking up my brother.

"I got to go before my parents get back"

"Are they still not letting you out?"

"Just for now Robin but I'm sure it will change" I said giving both of them a hug before I let racing down the stair to cut time short racing off back down the street digging around for the keys when I reach up the front steps throwing myself inside slamming the door shut behind me. I set my brother to his room laying him down to rest as I drag myself to my room falling on the bed with a groan.
