chapter seventy-seven

When I entered the grab and go it was busier than usual with almost three full classes of kids as everyone was inside staying away from the cold and catching up with friends or even grabbing a snack, paying for it and rushing out in the chilly air. I made my way over to the back searching around for a couple of sodas picking up a (d/n) along with a full case of coca cola and full case of Pepsi, two good options beside my own.

"You need help with that?" A voice spoke out as I turned my head seeing Vance leaning against the pinball machine looking menacingly at some young kids that wanted a chance to play as they stepped back.

"Well yes why then didn't you say something early"

"I was guardian my baby"

"A pinball machine is not your baby" I said, handing him the two cases of drinks as he picked them up with ease, giving me a glare as I walked off through the store picking out a few snacks before throwing them on the counter.

"So finally ditching Michael's ass?"

"How did you know?"

"I was playing Pinball machine and he came barging in the store looking pissed grabbing a bag of candy then paid and left giving me a glare"

"Did he go looking for me?"

"I don't fucking know"

I felt a shiver down my spine as I pulled out a few bucks giving the worker what I had left getting a few quarters back as I handed them over to Vance who would put them in better use well more like waste them all.

"So, are you going to Finn sleepover or?"

"I might doll"

"Stop calling me doll" I groaned as he chuckled. I took the bags of things and handed him one of them as I took his hand walking out the store as he whined about his precious pinball machine but still kept walking next to my side as we made our way down Finn street then suddenly Vance took both the bags from me and shoved me into the snow as I pop my head up seeing him running off laughing his ass off. I struggled back on my feet chasing after him wiping away bits of snow from my face as I caught up to him quickly digging my hand through a snowbank bundling the snow up before jumping on him shoving the snow as he yelled out.

"You're a fucking bitch!" He cursed at me grabbing some snow and wrapped his arm around my waist while I was kicking trying to get out his grasp before he shoved the snow into my shirt as bits of it were starting to melt and run down my back. I jumped away from him reaching into my shirt trying to shake the snow off as the door opened and all the boys were watching the scene in front of them. I shot a glare at Vance, flipping him off before running inside Finn house for warmth as I ripped off my jacket and boot rushed down the hallway to the bathroom taking my shirt off shaking off the bigger chunks as I noticed most of the back shirt was drench. I threw my shirt over to somewhere it could dry off then I ran over to Finn room searching for a shirt as I smirked taking a NASA shirt that was one of Finn favorite as I pulled it over my head the smell of vanilla curling around me as I took a deep breath a smile crawling to my face before I came back out seeing the boys already digging into the drinks as I sat down on the couch taking my drink popping the top off taking a seat.

"Um (y/n) w-what are you doing with my shirt?" Finn asked slightly, eyeing me as Robin stood next to his side.

"Well Vance was being an asshole and got my shirt wet so I thought I could borrow yours. I could take it off and take something of Gwen, speaking of Gwen where is she?"

"No no it's fine and Gwen with her friends for a sleepover" Finn said, still eyeing me as Robin shook him back to reality. I took another sip of my drink while laying back against Billy who took a seat next to my side. the others soon came to join as we all started some Christmas movie about Rudolph on suggestion of Griffin because he said he enjoyed Christmas and I mean who doesn't beside the fact of someone bursting into your home you get gifts! I had my head on Billy chest as he had me buddle up in his arms while a blanket lying over me and him Griffin was on the couch too but claimed he was hot already while the other boys were sitting on the floor with Bruce and Finn in the middle having almost all the blanket, Vance and Robin didn't get much but a sliver of each side.

 Once the movie was over, we decided to set up the living room as our place to sleep instead of a cramped room before we would go outside to have some fun. Me, Finn and Robin went to Finn's room as we took off the pillows and blankets bringing them out into the living room before I pushed the mattress over to Robin side as he pushed it out. I took the pillows and blankets building the bed again and the couch while most of the boys ran outside in the yard. I ran outside dodging a snowball as I jumped into the snow throwing a snowball to Griffin as he yelps. I was in a giggle mess until a snowball was hit against my side as I whirled my head around seeing Robin with a smirk, I took some more snow throwing it at Robin until I felt arms wrapped around me as I looked up noticing it was Bruce as suddenly, he fell back making us fall into a pile of snow I jumped back away from Bruce as I noticed more snow falling around and the wind growing stronger as we all rushed back inside. we didn't have much else to do so we all decided to go to bed as I settled myself on the mattress between Vance and Bruce as I closed my eyes falling asleep as I felt an arm wrap around me just as I fell into the dream world.
