When the weekend came around, I was planning on getting ready to go visit Michael. I tried to call each of the boys but none of them picked up, so I assumed they were probably just busy or still sleeping. I threw on a pair of jeans with a (c/n) sweater and jacket to go along for warmth while tugging my shoes on as I took a slip of paper writing out a note for my mother in case I would be staying late before heading out the door walking down the street looking around. Snowflakes were falling around me as new snow piled up while the wind whip through my hair flying it back the chilly breeze crawling up my arms while I rub my hands trying to catch bits of warmth as I pull out the slip of paper Michael had given me before as I kept looking down at it trying to figure out where to go. I kept turning every corner feeling like I was running around in circles searching down every street before I stopped in front of a two-story house painted pure white like the snow with a gray roof on top. I looked down one last time at the slip of paper checking the address then looked up to match it as I stepped up to the porch knocking on the door a couple times. A woman opened the door as my eyes shot open in surprise. She was beautiful with brown locks of wavy hair that fell to her waist, her piercing blue eyes, pearl white skin that seemed to glow.

"Um hi is Michael home?"

"Yes, he's upstairs come in before you catch a cold" the woman spoke with a soft tone stepping away to let me inside.

"Thank you, are you Michael's sister?" I asked, stepping inside, taking my jacket off as the woman shook her head with a laugh.

"No, I'm his mother. Thank you for the compliment though, Michael, your friend here!"

"I'm coming!" Michael shouted from upstairs. I stood by the door waiting patiently as Michael's mother went into the kitchen. Soon Michael came down as I held back a chuckle noticing his hair was all in a reck springing out from the sides and on top his shirt was on backward and he was still in Pj shorts.

"Did you forget I was coming?" I joked as he looked down noticing the state he was in as he rubbed the back of his neck chuckling a bit.

"No no I was still lying-in bed I didn't notice the time"

"I can see that"

"Whatever want to come upstairs to my room?"

"Sure" I said following after him upstairs

"Keep the door open Michael I don't want you kissing!" his mother shouted from downstairs as both of our faces as I looked down to the ground still following after him as we made it to his room on the left where I noticed on the wall was plastered with a bunch of planets, rock bands as I noticed some records lying on the ground some open and closed while soda bottles were littered around the room. He quickly took the soda bottles, throwing them in the trash as he searched through some drawer pulling out a pair of clothes leaving me in the room alone for a minute as I kept looking, I noticed there weren't any photos of his friend back in new york but maybe he just had them somewhere in a drawer like I had done. He came back looking more like the Michael I know as he sat next to me on the bed.

"I'm sorry for my mother"

"Don't be she seems like a nice person I thought she was your sister at first though"

"Everyone dose, she had me at the age of nineteen"

"Oh" I said with a little surprise "well now I see where you get your looks"

"Thankful" he said as we both burst out laughing.

"So do you have any photos?" I asked lying on the bed kicking my legs up in the air looking up at him as he shook his head no.

"I never liked taking photos neither did my friends, so we never did.... I wish I did though" he mumbled the last part lying next to me as Guilt swarmed my stomach. Maybe I should have kept my mouth shut. Michael got back up to his feet as he turned his head back to me.

"Do you want some chocolate chips cookies? My mother should be done making them"

"Yeah" I said with a smile as he smiled back at me before walking downstairs. I rolled off his bed as I made my way over to his record player looking through some of his vinyl, he had stacked next to it as I picked up the sweets a rock band my dad always listened to when I was younger. Michael came back holding a plate filled with cookies as he set it down next to me taking a seat on the floor grabbing one of them taking a bite. "Michael?"

"Yeah?"

"Could I play this?" I asked pointing at the vinyl.

"of course, go ahead" he said picking up another cookie taking a bite. I took it out placing the vinyl cd before pressing a button as it started to play fox on the run. I couldn't help but take a cookie eating it getting up to my feet as I started to dance around the music swaying me along. Michael got up to his feet joining me along as we both were laughing dancing around the room. Michael then took his hand in mine as we kept dancing around but as the song ended, he quickly pulled away looking nervous.

"Are you okay Michael?" I asked taking a step to him reaching my hand out to take his.

"(y/n) I have a question"

"What is it?"

"W-would you like to go out on a d-date with me?" he asked stumbling over his words while slightly gripping my hand a little like I would collapse any moment and he would be there to catch me.

"As friends?"

"no something more"

"but why?"

"(y/n) you are the most beautiful girl I've seen, you are kind and sweet, and tough too, you just have this amazing personality and I like you a lot"

every word he said melt my heart as butterfly flutter around my stomach, but I didn't know if I was ready yet for anything like that and something in my brain was telling me something wasn't right.

"Michael if it's okay could we wait on this?"

he didn't like that answer if she kept waiting the boys would go on to try and take her, but he didn't to upset her in case it would make her loose interest in him, so he agreed letting go of her hand as they went back to eating cookies and hanging around.
