chapter ninety-six

I was sitting on the couch watching tv with a bag of chips next to my side, a heating pad over my lap with a blanket straight out the dryer before my mother left for work with my brother. I was switching through channels on the tv looking for something to watch since my show didn't have any new episodes when I turned to the news wondering what they had to say as the weatherman explained that some new snow would start to fall before switching over to a man standing in front of a car wreck as I winced a bit at the sight nobody was injured but it still looked bad. I was about to switch the channel when they suddenly mentioned the grabber as I looked up at the tv seeing all of our missing posters as the man questioned the women sitting next to him.

"What do you think they're doing now Elizabeth?"

"I'm not sure tom but hopefully they won't have to experience something like that again"

The phone started to ring as I got up to my feet rushing out to the kitchen knowing that it must have been one of the boys as I picked up the phone.

"Please tell me you saw the news" Griffin said

"Yeah, I did, I'm surprised they're bringing it up again. It's been a couple months I thought we were past that" at least that's what I wanted it to be a forgetful memory of the past, but it burned in the back of my head simmering itself to never leave.

"I guess not also the boys wanted to know if you like to check out this place-"

"I would like to, but my cramps are killing me" I said as everything grew silent. I let out a groan about to set the phone back so I could get back to the heating pad.

"We'll see you later" Billy said on the other end before the phone hung up as I stood their shrugging to myself setting the phone back down crawling under the blanket back into a comfortable spot as I dug my hand around the chip bag pulling a couple out and stuffing my face 

Third person Pov
when Griffin told the other boys that (y/n) wouldn't be coming with them Billy got up to talk to (y/n) as she mentions cramps and that's when Billy realized she was probably in a bit of pain as he explained to the other boys. Bruce got the idea then to grab (y/n) a few things and just stay next to her side as the others agreed to the idea. 

once they got to the drug store though Griffin, Vance, Robin didn't know much or anything all about period stuff as Bruce and Finn knew about it from their sisters and had to always help them out before and Billy knew about it from health class before and never forgot about it. they walked down each aisle searching for the female productions as they found it to the back. that's when the boys realized what should they even get for (y/n)? none of them knew what she even liked or used and weren't planning to use the drug store phone to call her up and asked so instead they just grab a box of each tampon and pads as Robin and Vance carried them around. Billy and Bruce went off to look around for something that (y/n) might like as Billy picked up a bag of chocolate while Bruce was picking out her favorite type of flowers while Finn decided to grab one of (y/n) favorite type of stuff animal as they threw everything on the counter while the worker gave them a strange look as Vance quickly left out the store not wanting to be caught with any girly items but gave Bruce some of his money that he was saving up for pinball machine. once everything was scanned Bruce took out his money and Vance money while the other pitch in with any money they had left over in their pockets once it was paid Bruce grabbed the bags with the help of Finn as they rushed out the store not wanting to stay there any longer but to also make sure their crush was okay as they started walking down the street Vance noticed something and stop the others pointing out as they noticed Michael walking to the drug store as he stopped right in front of the boys glaring at them.

"Why do you have period productions?" Michael asked 

"It doesn't matter cunt wad" Vance said bursting out laughing as Michael step up closer to the boys.

"they're for (y/n) aren't they?"

"Like Vance said it doesn't matter to you" Griffin said 

"It seemed you didn't get my message before (y/n) mine I will make sure of that and if you don't want anything bad to happen to her, I suggest you stay away"

"We won't fucking listen to you" 

"okay" Michael said with a smirk walking into the drug store.  Vance wanted to walk right back in there to pick a fight with Michael for threatening him till Bruce stopped him not wanting a run in with the cops as they all walked off.

back to (y/n) Pov
 I was still sitting on the couch waiting for my blanket to be warmed up while I shifted the heating pad around waiting for the Ibuprofen to kick in after I felt like I was going to empty my guts. I heard a knock at the door as I sat up reach over from the couch to the door unlocking it as the boys came walking in setting down a few bags as Finn held up a stuffed animal with my (f/f) and some chocolate that I had been craving. 

"Aww thank you" I said taking the stuffed animal out of Finn arm holding it close to my chest

"Well, we heard our doll was in pain, so we wanted to help"

"Vance if I wasn't in pain right now, I would hit you" I said as he mocked me. I set the stuff animal next to my side as I looked through the bags finding thousands of different periods products. "Umm you could have called me"

"Told you we should!" Billy shouted as I took the products placing them back into the bag.

"I'll use them anyways" I said with a smile as I patted the couch as they all took a seat or tried to at the most as I pulled Vance a bit closer to my side resting my head on his chest as he let out a groan wrapping an arm around me without a choice as for the rest of the day the boys stuck by my side watching tv till my parents had to come home as I kicked them out but not before telling Bruce to grab my blanket from the dryer as he rushed off handing me my warm blanket before leaving with the rest as I laid my head back against a throw pillow closing my eyes falling asleep.
