Like I predicted the boys quickly found out about my state of emotion making them each try to plan something out for the day. I thought it was a dumb idea because how would I be able to hang out with each one of them in one day then again Bruce and Finn were the smart once and had come up with the plan in the first place and to be honest I didn't want to back down on the idea as each boy came up with their own idea of fun to bring a smile to my face. Then the next idea came who would hang out with me first to last till it was settled on Griffin, Billy, Bruce, Finn, Vance and last robin. I didn't have a clue what each of them were planning as if I try asking, they will just say it's a surprise. I even tried to get Griffin, my first best friend since moving here, to open up by bribing him with books but he didn't say a word either. So now I was lying in bed staring up at the ceiling, glancing at the clock every few minutes as time ticked by. I was debating getting a nap to kill some of the boredom as I rolled over on my side my eyelid growing heavy while a yawn escaped my lips not even a minute later, I heard a loud knock out in the living room making me jump back. Took him long enough I thought jumping out of bed throwing on my jean jacket walking out into the living room propping the door open to see him standing by the porch one arm wrapped around his bike and the other hand with my bike.

"Come on, we're going for a ride" he said, wasting no time jumping over his bike. I rushed over jumping over mine taking off after him as we both started pedaling down the street till, he suddenly took off down into a wooded area. I gripped the brakes looking out before continuing on as we were quickly dropped down a hill. My hand wrapped around the handlebar as the once calm wind picked up brushing against my neck sending my hair flying back meanwhile Griffin was in a burst of laughter dropping down to the bottom pedaling down the dirt path the adrenaline shot into me as my anxiety washed down replacing with the thrill wanting more. Griffin took a sharp turn as I did the same, shaking a little as we went up and down another big hill avoiding the tree branches that were closing in.

"This is fun" I shouted, turning up another hill dropping down next to Griffin side.

"We're almost there" he said over my shout taking another turn as I picked up my speed till, we both came to a stop the sight took my breath away. There was one tree that stood away from the rest with most of its red and orange Leafs still attached unlike the rest providing shade underneath. Griffin got off his bike holding his hand out to me as I jumped off taking his hand in mine following as we both took a seat near the trunk of the tree.

"Since when were you going to tell me this?"

"I was going to tell you soon after we became friends until things change" he said trying to put it lightly as I put the pieces together that on the day, I saw the black balloons was just a day early where Griffin was going to show me this wonderful sight. He got up for a minute grabbing a book from his bike, settling down next to me as I rested my head against his as we read over the book and enjoyed the morning silence.

We only made it past the first chapter as we got back on our bikes riding back into the street over to my house as I got off my bike being pulled back into open arms as I spun around wrapping my arms around Griffin until we both pulled apart after a minute. He got back on his bike riding back home probably as I put my bike back in the garage pushing it to the back as I heard a bark behind me.

"Hello Billy, hi Rover" I said walking back out to them as Rover was tugging on his leash a bit. "Where are we going?"

"You'll find out" he said whistling to catch Rover attention holding his hand out as I took his hand Letting him lead the way as we went down the street as we got closer to the sound of more barking. Rover started barking tugging on the leash whining at Billy as we entered in one of the gates. Billy crouched down taking the hooking the leash off Rover collar opening the second gate as Rover took off with the other dogs that were running around greeting one another. me and Billy went over to one of the benches taking a seat as a husky came trotting over barking a bit sniffing at my leg resting it head on my lap. the first thing I wanted to do was pet it, but my body restrain itself from doing so. Billy noticed reaching his hand out to the dog petting the top of his head as I couldn't stop myself rubbing the dog head scratching behind his ear till the dog grew tired running off.

"How often do you bring Rover around here?"

"Every two hours when I can"

"You really love that dog"

"he's my baby" Billy said as I snickered leaning against his side. Rover came back with a tennis ball dropping in front of us as I reach down holding the tennis ball in Rover sight before throwing it sending it high up in the air before it dropped a few feet away. Rover dashed off picking up the ball before another dog could coming back to us wanting to play more as me and Billy each took a turn taking the ball throwing it far for Rover to burn off some energy while me and Billy were running around messing with Rover till, he sat down on the ground the look in his eyes saying he was done as Billy hook the leash back onto Rover walking out the dog park. me and Billy said our goodbyes as I headed back home dropping down on the couch lying my head back against one of the throw pillows.
