chapter fifty-five

The next morning, I woke up with a sharp pain in the pit of my stomach. I pushed myself off the bed thinking that maybe I just needed the bathroom but after one step I was whelmed with nausea reaching my throat trying to push it way out. I ran over to the bathroom throwing the toilet lid up getting down to my knees, but the feeling stopped. It took a minute to regain myself pulling my shorts down as I noticed a drop of blood. Fuck. fuck. Fuck! I took off my shorts and panties, balling them up hoping to find a way to hide the evidence while I grabbed a tampon fixing myself up. I had kept track of my periods before but now of all days it decided to pop out the blue like an unwelcoming surprise. I grabbed a new pair of panties and some jeans and threw them on taking the bloody mess, throwing it in the garbage can outside. I went back inside grabbing two Advil grabbing a cup of water swallowing each one down to stop the throbbing pain in my pelvic. I went back to my bedroom to check the mess, thankful there was nothing left on the bed.

When I got to school, I was a ticking time bomb every emotion spilling on one another waiting to burst out. All the boys were standing by Finn's locker as they noticed waving over to me. I took a different direction not wanting to see them right now as I headed to first period throwing my bag on the floor taking a seat covering my head with a groan.

"Are you okay (y/n), is it about the rumors?" Donna asked scotting her chair over, laying a hand over my back.

"It's not about the rumors" I mumbled letting out another groan wrapping my arms around myself. Couldn't the Advil kick any faster.

"Oh" Donna said as it settled in, she got her bag searching around pulling out a heat pack "here you can use this"

"You're a lifesaver Donna" I said taking the heat pack out her hand laying it over my pelvic and a bit of my stomach. The heat pack did its job within a minute, releasing the tension.

"I always carry it around incase"

"Thanks, I just wish I could have stayed home. I don't think I'll make it through the day" I mumbled, grabbing my book as class started. Right in the middle of reading my book I heard a giggle in front of me then something coming flying to my direction as it bounced off my book falling on the desk. I set my book down picking up a crumpled piece of paper unraveling it while Donna set her book down moving close to me. Inside with big written words were stay away from Bruce. I didn't care taking the paper crumbling it back up throwing it to the trash while Donna was side eyeing me.

"Did you actually kiss Bruce?" she suddenly questioned me.

"No, I just danced with him. Wait, is that one of the rumors?"

"Yeah"

"What are the others then?"

"That you're his girlfriend and moose said one I don't think you want to know"

"What is it?"

"He called you a whore saying you were well you know"

Outside I was nodding my head trying to stay calm and go back to my book but inside I was ready to start a fight with moose. The bell rang as I rushed out in the hallways searching for moose as I ran right into Bruce, just the person I wanted to see.

"Oh (y/n) me and the others were looking for you, are you okay???" he sounded more concerned than usual as I pushed my way past him running over to the girl's bathroom. It was empty as I took a stall throwing my bag into a corner. I would just have to hide in here for a bit but as luck would have it the door burst open as someone came marching in. I pushed myself back against the wall covering my mouth hoping the person would just leave soon.

"(y/n) I know you in here" Robin said standing right in front of the stall I was in "you can't avoid us for long"

I kept silent, still having my back to the wall. Robin wouldn't bug though hell he didn't care much about class anyways so he could stand here for hours. maybe even get Vance involved in this. I let out a sigh opening the stall poking my head out to see the smirking boy leaning against the wall.

"Are you going to tell me?"

"Fine I got my period so I'm an emotional wreck and don't want to take my anger out on any of you" I said picking my bag up throwing it over my shoulder at first, he was confused then it hit him as he mouthed out an oh turning around. "You wanted to know"

"Yeah, yeah I know, do you want me to get you something?"

"Just please tell the others to collect any of my work in class and bring it to me by the end of the day I just want to be alone" and to find Moose. Robin nodded his head walking out the girl's bathroom as for the rest of the day I spent myself hiding or dropping by the nurse's office stealing her only one bed. The final bell rang as I shot up jumping down running over by the outside near the front door waiting and waiting until I saw moose ugly face.

"Hey Moose!" I shouted, grabbing his attention as the others had also turned their heads. I started walking over to him as he crossed his arm, giving me a smirk.

"Oh, look it's the-" he didn't have time to finish his sentence as I swung my fist punching him right in the nose sending him tumbling back a bit on his feet. A crowd was quick to form watching the scene as I threw my fist against punching his stomach. He jumped back taking his fist ready to swing as I duck out the way punching his stomach again as he was quick to grab his stomach leaving his face wide, I decided instead to knock him over his feet sending him to the ground as I reached down gripping the collar of his shirt.

"Call me a whore again or spread any rumors about me I'll be sure to ruin your life" I whisper into his ear letting go turning back on my feet walking past the crowd "show over go home"

Robin came over to me handing me the pile of homework I asked for as we both went walking back to my house so he could help me patch up my knuckle that was already pouring blood as I took his hand leading him over to the bathroom. He didn't ask any questions about the fight, worried that it may pissed me off if he did as he took some paper towels wrapping it around my knuckle.

"Thank you, robin" I mumbled rubbing against my hand a bit. This for sure would leave a bruise by tomorrow.

"You're welcome" he said with a faint smile giving me a slight hug as I melted into the touch before he pulled away leaving to go back to his house. I went over to the living room taking a seat on the couch still rubbing at my hand a bit as I turned my show on leaning back against the couch picking up a bag of chips. Just what a girl needed. Tv and snacks to calm the beast down.
