A small sigh escaped your chapped lips as you laid against the cold floor of your so-called "room". It was nothing like living in the village like you have for years, in fact this was the worst possible outcome you could have ever gotten brought to your name from what it seemed like.
Being one of the few welders of the town you had some importance in your role with your work. Learning everything from your dad and more, he was your role model that taught you everything you needed to survive out here. Being that this place everyone lived in was a death trap full of monsters that roamed for their next meal. He wanted you to live the best possible life you could with an amount of pay to get you by without the struggle up until you could leave. Wanting you to have a life away from the town of delusional people that thought praying would make everything better.
He was the only person you could really trust here, or at least you thought you could trust. He made you feel safe, like nothing could ever happen to you. Yet the memory was now poisoned in your thoughts, a nightmare replacing the sanctuary. The nightmare that walked up onto your porch with loud footsteps, the smell of smoke from his cigar flooded your senses as you waited inside in the dining room. Confused and scared, not sure where your father had run off too in the house nor why this man, no one of the 4 Lords had come to your doorstep. A knock erupted from the outside, some grumbling followed until the door was opened by his hand. With quite a big smirk on his face he saw you standing there in shock at him. Asking with a rough tone where your father was, over and over seeming to be more annoyed with you with no answer leaving your lips. Your father soon stepped in front of you and pushed you back slightly. Telling him off as if he were a neighbor that stopped by to complain about the stature of the house. They fought, yelled at each other up until the Lord flung a piece of metal up into his arm and pinned him up against the wall. His loud footsteps came closer, taking your hand and telling him that this was what he got for taking his scrap without paying him the price. Yelling at him to pay him what he owed him or he wouldn't see you again.
You screamed and kicked, fought his grasp around your wrist. Trying to escape as you both trudged through the snow in the town up to his gate no one dared to step near. Pieces of metal flew around you, forming restraints around your wrists as he blew up in front of you in anger. Going off on how annoying you were and that he wished he could have just left you there if your father would have held up on his side of the deal. He was mean, rude and watched as teared up to his words. Asking what he was going to do with you only to leave you in silence as he walked to his factory with you trailing behind like a simple pet or luggage. He seemed impatient with you, dragging you along up until you reached a small room on one of the lower levels. Having him stop and chain you to the wall, it was now your duty to weld things that he had brought to you until your dad could give him his scrap or money back was what he said. Muttering to himself that it would be a long while before that ever happened.
So here you were, judging by the marks you left on the wall in your small room it had been two months since your capture. Two months without your father and the people of the outside, two months without proper food or sleep since you weren't Heisenberg's top priority in his factory. Your stomach growled as you laid there, your knees pressed up against your stomach to ease the hunger pains that kept you aware of how little you have eaten. Your tired eyes started to pry open at the certain sound of footsteps coming near your door once more. Feeling uneasy as you laid there, uncertain as to how the Lord would react today.
The sound of cogs turned as he unlocked the sturdy door concealing you. His face held a blank expression as he walked in, crouching down where you lay. You prepared yourself for a smack to wake you up, or whatever form of abuse he had in mind. Yet you were pulled out of your thoughts by his hand yanking your chained wrists up. Holding you merely above the ground now with the tips of your shoes barely touching the floor. He looked over you, his other hand raised up and his fingers twisted. Your chain was now undone from the wall and replacing with a ball at the end he knew you could barely run with.
