Movie/Game : Resident Evil 2
-----------------------
The main police station was one thing, the lighting was okay in the majority of the rooms. You knew where you were going since you have been a part of the police station for a couple of months before hell broke loose here. Being friends with everyone on staff, like you were a big family. Although your fairy tale of everyone surviving the outbreak was cut short, you ended up being one of the last officers left in the building as you boarded up the exit doors and certain windows. Now being the only officer left as Marvin got bit right before the rookie Leon Kennedy busted through the doors of the place. Your loneliness soon disappeared because of his presence. Helping you as best he could to pull your friend out from underneath the gate blocking off a certain part of the station. You hadn't expected him to come here during this crisis, let alone help you try to escape the building and find a way out of the city. You had just met each other yet it felt as if your connection was stronger then you had expected. Surviving against all the odds that tried to end your lives, a mutual respect for each other brought you closer as well as your will to live throughout the night.
You made your way through the first and second floor together, finally finding a way out of this place like you had wanted. Sticking together in order to make it out of the city alive just like you promised one another. Yet once you unlocked the passage to the lower level of the station it was a whole different story then what you had in mind. With Marvin on your mind and how he reacted to you both telling him that he could leave. It was just up to you two to find a way out of the station. Yet it seemed every twist and turn you took led you both into even more danger than you had hoped for.
Starting with the monster that attacked you both on the lower levels of the station that seemed to look like the sewer systems that ran throughout the city. It was unlike anything you have ever seen before and scary as hell might you add. The zombies outside were one thing, the only scary thing being that they could end your life in a second and the fact that you knew half of the people they used to be before this whole mess had happened. But upgrading to a monster that could smash your skull if it's hands grabbed a hold of you, yeah it was not your cup of tea at all. Watching him try to strike at you to kill you both makes you truly fear for your life for once. Trying your best to avoid the monster all together in order to save yourself, firing a couple rounds in order to distract it from hurting Leon as you fought. Cornering yourself with the beast coming at you, you were trapped like a rat in a maze, stuck in shock and fear as to what that monster was going to do to you. Before you knew it though as you cowered in fear Leon shot him and ended up being the final blow that sent him over the railing. Saving you from your demise, making sure you were okay as you stood there motionless by the show that was put on in front of you.
This was what set you on edge officially, not sure what was even out there in the world anymore if this thing was created. You weren't even sure if you could let your guard down any more if things like that were coming to hunt you down. To kill you in a matter of seconds rather than slowly walk at you and reach for you as you run away. This city wasn't safe anymore, how could it be with creatures that rose from the dead to infect others. Making you cringe at the thought of dead the more you thought about taking your own life to save yourself from becoming one of them in the new world.
Even with Leon's reassurance that he had your back and that you would make it out of here alive together it still wasn't enough to make you feel safe. Your journey continued on sadly, making your way through the tunnels and finally to a manhole cover that led up to the parking lot down below the station. Barely any lighting was in the area as you climbed up to the top, helping Leon up and on to the surface as well. The gate was down which was strange, as you gazed around you watched him out of the corner of your eye walk toward the scanner. He studied it carefully, exclaiming you needed a key card from somewhere. Before you knew it as you stared at Leon a dog started to creep out from underneath a car to the side of you both. As it finally came into your field of vision your eyes went wide. You screamed for Leon to move, watching as he shot the dog and it couldn't stop it from pouncing on him. Unloading your clip you watched as the dog tipped over off of him from one last blast from a gun that was held behind you.
