After the chaotic events revolving around Raccoon City months had passed since that fateful day she spent there in the death trap of a place covered in the dead that roamed the streets and mutated experiments until the city was annihilated by the blast of it being destroyed. Claire alongside Sherry and her new friend Leon were the only ones she knew of that made it out of that place alive. The horrors of the city were buried as they walked along the road away after the rough night the three of them had gone through. Those memories in the back of her mind could never shift away or be buried, being involved in such a catastrophe was something that changed Claire for good as the further she went to find her brother the more trouble she managed to get herself in to in order to find him.
But now, a month later Claire Redfield had found herself in unfamiliar territory. The Umbrella Corporation might have been defeated for now, but other remnants of their dark legacy still lingered even with Raccoon City gone. This mission, however, was personal. She had heard whispers of hidden Umbrella research data deep inside a heavily guarded facility, information that could help her in finding her brother or at least she hoped would help to find Chris. And tonight, Claire would retrieve it alone, determined to finally come across a sign of where Chris could be in this lonely world she wished to be beside him in once again.
Dressed in her iconic red jacket that brought her comfort, Claire was ready as she pulled her hair back into a high ponytail. A serious expression spread across her face as she ran through the situation in her head once more to make everything clear. To make sure before she went ahead first into this building that everything was covered in her mind and the plan was solid with barely any possible mistakes that could happen. She stood atop a towering building in the city, the cool night air whipping through her ponytail as she adjusted the cable wire tied around her waist. It secured her, running under her legs and attached to her utility belt, ensuring that her feet would never touch the ground during the heist. She needed to stay completely airborne to avoid detection in this building otherwise she was done for. Walking right in was never an option to be behind because of how many guards were down below. She was lucky she was able to take out the guards stationed above with the rifle she brought with her. Otherwise her plan would have already failed the second it started. Detection in this facility would cause so many other problems for her in the long run so it wasn't in her best intentions to cause the alarm to rise. Stealth was her best option and that was what she intended to stick to in order to achieve what she came here for. Because after all of this, going home empty handed was definitely not an option to her no matter the cost of this journey.
With a grin of determination and a running start, Claire launched herself into the air. Her movements were silent as she zipped toward the facility window with ease. Her past in Raccoon City made this feel like nothing, even if she's never done anything like this before if seemed like she's been through a lot worse just because of her past back in that hell of a place a month ago. The wire allowed her to swing across the side of the building effortlessly.  Not a single guard noticed her as she whipped past with great speed. She stopped against the glass, her body was nimble as she carefully pushed her weight against the window. Taking a second to try and gaze inside, the window tint was making it hard enough to judge if there were any guards nearby, but she couldn't wait any longer. Once the guards were found on the roof she only had a matter of time to get what she needed and time to escape. Her fingers moved quickly as she managed to break the edge of the window with her multi tool. Pushing it open as best she would with as little sound as possible. A smirk replaced her serious expression she held, clicking the button to undo her line. Her straps still held her hips tightly as she shut the window to hide any trace of her sneaking in.
