This was it, it was finally over for the three of you. The night full of nightmares you all had experienced through and through was finally over with. At first it was unbelievable to you, the final fight against the queen was over and the mansion was destroyed where it stood out in the middle of the woods from the self destruction sequence. Terror filled you throughout the whole night as you worked together with Rebecca and Billy to make it out of there. Finally exiting the building as it blew up from the basement levels up. You were finally free of the dangers that surrounded you the whole night. Now you could just relax as you escaped and never wanted to step back on this land ever again.

The sun shined through the gray clouds that aligned the sky over the long night you had experienced. It was peaceful as the gentle breeze hit your exhausted body as you walked up the hill next to your two partners you fought alongside the whole entirety of the night. Your boots trudged across the grass as you climbed the hill with your friends beside you. Trying to figure out where you were located in this land. You stood between them, your eyes adjusting to the lighting as it shined between the clouds to bright. Billy stood in front of you both, staring at the handcuffs that have caused him so much pain as a constant reminder of his false accusations. He frowned as he took the handcuffs with a step forward, throwing them out into the woods down below. His breathing was heavy as he stared out for a moment before seeming to collapse as he sat on to the grass. Laying back with his limbs out stretched as he just took in the fact that you were now safe.

"Hey, that must be the old mansion Enrico was talking about" Rebecca suddenly said, causing Billy to sit up as you three gazed over the woods to find the old mansion just like Enrico said. You smirked, knowing at least there was something else out here.

"Well I'll be damned, he was right about a mansion being out here after all" You replied with your hands on your hips. Seeming impressed by the information about the mansion being true, yet annoyed that you had to go and explore it now after everything you had gone through earlier. Rebbecca smiled to herself as she glanced down for a second. Turning her attention to Billy on the ground, she bent over to him. Ripping the dog tags that he wore across his neck, he seemed to be taken back by her action as he stood up suddenly. Watching her as she stared at the tags for a second before putting them on herself. You watched in confusion at her actions, not seeming to catch on why she did that in the first place.

"I guess this is good bye....Officially Lieutenant Billy Coen is dead"

"Yeah....I'm just a zombie now" He said with a stretch, turning on his heel for a second before looking back at her. She smiled as she saluted him while she stood there, in honor of him since we both knew what he had done in his past. She smiled at him before turning on her heel to walk away. Only a few feet ahead she stopped once more, noticing you weren't by her side like she thought you would have been. Yet the idea popped into her head that you hadn't even told him goodbye either.

"You coming Y/n"

"Yeah, give me a minute alright. I'll catch up to you in a second Rebecca" you replied with a tired smile as you slowly sat down against the grass. Your legs hung over the side of the cliff you were sitting on, not a care in the world. Just taking in everything that you had never really looked at with such happiness before now. This was like a second chance to you, a new beginning as one would say. A long sigh of relief escaped your lips as you closed your eyes for a second to take in a breath. The feeling washed over you that the terrors you have experienced are finally over. No more gun fire, no more gruesome monsters, no more injuries. Just you sitting and enjoying the sunrise. As you sat you heard his footsteps as he walked behind you. Taking a seat next to you near the edge of the hill, he gazed out just as you were before. Seeming to enjoy the silence between you both as you just took a second to relax.
