no perfect time to be alive. might as well enjoy what we have

I've imagined being born in 2050s.

Jealousy bloomed all over my thoughts like some fungus-covered tree

at the thought of

how much better would life be:

technology we wouldn't imagine just like it was fifty years ago

better medicine (and higher prices to go along)

maybe less bigotry

and the like; I don't even know.

homelessness thrives on this dying planet

AI has stolen so many jobs

scorching summers that last forever

winter is a fantasy, no one has ever touched snow

green is an extinct color in the breeding fever

or

another war has apocalypsed the world

Oh well.

So I've imagined being born in 1970s or sth.

My brain went

huh.

little technology

unjustified discrimination is rampant

norms are even more pathological than the nowadays ones (generally speaking)

days are spent without constant screens

overstimulation is not really a thing

winter covers the world with snow for months

you're running around more and don't get fat

So, you know, it's not ALL that bad.

But really though

I'd say I like the current world

the most.?

It's like in between those two,

with some improvements and many things to improve

that either weren't there or were there and we've made progress

No such thing exists as

best time to be alive.

it's always good and bad at the same time

though in different ways.

We're so lucky

In many aspects

Yet at the same time

We're the victims

of so many crimes.
