Spoilers for the "Long Way From Home" story.
——
The group was divided into groups of two to shave off some time of searching for documents.
Well, everyone had someone besides Fascist and Soviet.
F.I (Fascist Italy) was on the lookout for security  guards and to serve as a distraction.
Soviet?
He didn't had a choice to since Britain and France was an obvious pair. Along with Spain and Portugal.
It was very fortunate that Imperial immediately went with Third since he didn't want to deal with the German's annoying ass. Well another thing is that the Japanese and the German are unfortunately dating just a few days ago so of course they would go together.
And it's quite clear what Fascist chose to be.

So he's quite glad he was able to go alone.
Less distractions and didn't had anyone else doubting him.

The party served as a great distraction for the guards since they have to focus on so many people and not them.
Loud music, people crowded in a space, laughter and talking. It was guaranteed that no one will hear nor see them.

As he silently walked through the many hallways that connect to each other in the building, he encounters a door saying "The Treasure Room."

Ironically, the door was unlocked, with an high security key in the door knob.
The door was slightly open, letting some of the hallway lights enter the room.
He pushes the door slightly, letting more light into the room.
Only to reveal that a guard died in here with a...weird looking astronaut standing next to it.
No arms. Stubby legs. Red with a non-transparent blue helmet?
(A-A-Among us?!)

"The fuck?" He cursed in confusion.

The guard had what a toy dog bone looks like sticking out of their lower torso as their body was cut in half.
Very strangely, their organs were not spilling out and blood staining the floor.
The weird astronaut made no comments and just walked out of the room, leaving the Russian heavily confused on what he just witnessed.

"I'm seeing some weird shit today.." He mumbled as he enters the room.

Kicking the odd corpse to the side and closing the door, he goes to turn on the lights of the room.
The room revealed to be holding these objects that are not from this world.
One of the cases was broken and had a similar shape to the weird astronaut he just saw.
Some examples of these was a yellow star with two black eyes slowly spinning around.
An what seems to be pixelated pickaxe made of diamonds.
A spiked blue turtle shell with wings.
A large sledgehammer that is emitting electricity.
A blue glowing black dorsal fin that is way larger than Soviet.
A figure that has a woman with long dark purple braided hair, wearing something similar to a kimono sitting down while holding a sword.
A bottle with some weird light blue liquid.
A glass high heel slipper.
And the list goes on.

In a corner had piles and piles of treasure and mixed mysterious items.
There was a ball that had the same design as Indonesia's flag but there was a black line along with a circle, circling a button.
He heads over and picks up the ball out of curiosity.

"What type of maniac hordes all of these items?"  He said to himself as he looked at all of these strange items.

His finger accidentally presses too hard on the button, causing an loud noise as the ball opened.
He nearly jumped at the noise considering that bear's hearing is twice as sensitive as a human.
Another thing was that he wasn't paying attention.

"Shit that caused too much noi- The fuck is that?"  Soviet interrupts his own sentence as he sees a weird bug on the ground in front of him.

It was about one feet tall larval creature.
Something too big compared to a normal larvae.
Most of its round white body was covered by a translucent shell of icy spikes. The head has two black eyes and round mouthparts. It's legs were nowhere to be seen but it was most likely under this creature.

«Snom?» The bug called out in curiosity.

Was this man it's trainer?
It was minding its business on a snowy mountain when a portal suddenly opened up, a PokéBall thrown at it and everything was black.
Maybe it is!
Maybe this its new trainer!

«Snom!» It cheered.

Soviet was heavily confused.
Is this bug really talking?
Why is it saying Snom?!
When's the time can bugs talk?!

The Snom began making its way to its trainer.
Ready for the adventures that awaited ahead!

The Russian had zero clue on what to do.
Should he run out of the room or wait to see if this bug is harmless.
The bug was slowly moving to him.

"Maybe it's trying to leave?" He thought as he steps to the side.

Nope.
The bug changes directions to where the man is standing.

"Why is it heading to me? Does it think I'm its owner or something?"

The Snom was trying its best to reach its trainer but it got tired.
It was cooped up in the Pokéball for who knows how long for,

«Snom...» It said tiredly as it slightly flattens.

"Hey."

"What is it now voice?"

"Pick it up."

"Why? It's a bug that is a foot tall!"

"It obviously looks like it won't survive here. So be a nice guy and adopt it."

"The others are going to make fun of me, especially Third, for having a foot tall bug with me."

"They won't if you say you save it from Zein. Plus, I have a feeling that it has some capability."

"It's going to be ob-"

"JUST PICK UP THE DAMN THING."

"ALRIGHT FINE! I will just to get you to shut up!"

Soviet sighed and went to pick up the bug off the ground and puts it on his shoulder.
It was cold surprisingly.

«Snom!» It smiled despite having no visible mouth.

"So uh...you're a Snom I'm assuming?" He awkwardly asked the bug.

He felt incredibly stupid for asking that. Yet alone talking to a bug that can only say "Snom."

«Snom!» The bug nodded.

"Weird name..."

He was thinking of putting it back in the wild but the bug seems to have little to no defense at all.
It would be a prime target for birds to try to snack on.
Or a large feast for ants, wasps and spiders.
It wouldn't hurt to have it tag along.

"Well, little comrade. You're going to be with me now."
