"YOU'RE jealous, aren't you?" I stilled when I hear him whisper those words in my ears. His arm are still in my waist. Securing me not to get off from his embrace. Ngunit kahit hindi nya na gawin yon ay hinding-hindi ako lalayo mula sa kanya dahil gustong-gusto ko ang pakiramdam na malapit sa kanya.

"Baby..." He utter. I bit my lips.

"Nakakainis ka kasi..." Ani ko sa mahinang boses.

"Hmm? Why?" Lix ask and put his chin in my shoulder. Ramdam na ramdam ko tuloy ang paghampas ng kanyang hininga sa aking balat.

"H-hinayaan mo lang kasi na... na hawakan ka habang nasa harapan mo ako... tapos malalaman ko pa na crush ka pala nung isa kong kaklase." Bulong ko pa. "Oo na. Nagseselos na ako, pero hindi naman yon maiwasan na hindi maramdaman kapag gusto o mahal mo yung isang tao diba? You can't stop jealousy even if you try hard." Mahabang usal ko.

"I'm sorry, baby." He whisper in my ears, then made me face him. "Oh, God... you don't know how jealous I am every time I see you with your guy friends, baby." I swallowed and bit my lower lip as I look down.

He hold my chin and lifted my face. Our eyes met and I just couldn't stop my heart from beating too fast.

"I have something for you, and I... uh, I think, it can erase your jealousy?" He slowly said. Nanatili akong tahimik hanggang sa kunin nya sa akin ang bag ko na naka-sukbit sa'king balikat. He planted a soft kiss on my forehead before holding my hand. "Come on, nasa office ko yon." Aniya sabay hila sa akin ng marahan palabas ng room. I breath in relief when I saw there's no one in the hallway. Malaya kaming naglakad sa hallway na magkahawak kamay.

I like the feeling of being hold by him. His palm are slightly rough but warm. I smile.

Kainis naman, bakit ba hindi ko kayang magtampo o magalit sa kanya ng matagal?

"I hope that you'll like it." He said when we finally enter his office. Pinaupo nya ako sa single sofa at dumiretso ito sa isang drawer.

I look down on my fingers and play on it until I felt something cold that laid on the skin in my neck. Napahawak ako doon at tinignan kung ano iyon. My lips parted when I saw that it was a necklace. It has a sun pendant. May mga bato ito sa kada rays ng araw at sa gitna.

"Lix..." I turned my head to face him and there, I saw him smile.

"Sabi na, bagay sayo." Saad nito. Umikot ito papunta sa harapan ko. He bend his knees and look straight into my eyes. "Kahapon ko pa sana yan ibibigay sayo after our date but you just left me dumbfounded inside the car right after we arrived in your house." Bigla akong nahiya dahil  hindi ko man lang ito napasalamatan sa paghatid sa akin pauwi sa bahay. Madaling-madali na kasi ako noon dahil sa pagaakalang nakauwi na si dad.

"Pasensya na, nagmamadali kasi ako dahil akala ko nasa bahay na si daddy." Paliwanag ko sa kanya. "Bakit... Why did give me something like this?"

Ilang segundo itong tumitig sa akin na nagpa-ilang sa akin ng husto. He tuck some hair strands that covers my face then he caress my left cheek.

"Because when you came into my life,  you also gave light in my dark world. I can't see any interesting in my whole world not until you came and give white light that would let me see colors." Napanguso ako dahil sa sinabi nito.

"Ih, Kinonek mo lang don sa topic natin noong first quarter." He chuckle.

"Did I?"

"Oo, yung, you can't see, the white light and colors." Ani ko.

"Fine, because you're like the sun rays, the white light, that gives light in my world." He said and hold my hand. "So,  ahm... would you... like... to uh... be my girlfriend?" Natigilan ako sa tanong nya. My heart thumped hard inside my rib cage.
