Epilogue

"Dad!" I immediately turn my head and smile when I saw my son running to me.

"Hey, don't run." Saway ko habang papalapit ito. I carry him when he reaches me.

"Oh my! Daddy, no!" Agad nitong angil pagkabuhat ko sa kanya. Nagpupumiglas ito kaya kunot noo ko itong ibinaba.

"Why?" I ask.

"Daddy, I'm a grown man na! Don't carry me like that because I'm big boy." He seriously said. Nakatingala ito sa akin at hindi ko napigilan ang matawa. Lixian is such an adorable kid. My baby raised him well.

Napangiti ako nang maalala ang unang pagkikita namin.

Finally, after one week of staying in Barcelona, Spain, we decided to go back in the Philippines after we visit my mother.

"My, we won't be staying here for too long." I said and glace at my baby who's currently making an awkward smile to my mother. Well, I introduced her to my mother already kaya siguro ganyan ang inaakto nya.

"Ha? Bakit naman? Kakabisita nyo palang eh... And I want to have a quality time with your girlfriend" My mother said. I smile at her.

"My, nililigawan ko palang po. Sinusuyo ko pa but it's better calling her my wife. And babalik din ulit kami dito with your grandchild or grandchildrens I guess." Sambit ko na may biro sa dulo. Mom slapped my arm. "Aw, why?"

"Pakasalan mo muna!" Sigaw ni mommy kaya nilingon ko si Pan. I lick my lower lip to hide my smile after seeing her flushed face.

"Sure, my. Wala na rin akong balak na pakawalan eh." Saad ko habang matiim na nakatitig dito. Mas lalo yata itong pumula dahil sa sinabi ko.

After a few more hours staying at my mother's house, we go straight to the airport since we already buy our ticket.

"Are you hungry? Kanina ka pa tahimik." Sambit ko habang nagmamaneho. Umiling ito. "Anything else bothering you?" I asked again.

"Wala naman. I'm just... tired." She said then look away with flushing cheeks like she remembered something hilarious. I just nod and guided her inside the plane.

Labing-limang oras ang biyahe pabalik sa Pilipinas. I turn my head to my side and saw her peacefully sleeping. I shook my head when I noticed that she's uncomfortable with her position, so I fix it. Dahan-dahan kong hinila ang kanyang braso at inilagay iyon sa aking tyan, I pull her head too, and put it in my shoulder. I kiss the top of her head and whisper,

"I love you, baby."

I didn't realize that I fall asleep too. Nagising na lang ako dahil sa announcement ng piloto na magl-landing na ang eroplano.

As I drove to her brother's house because that's what Phoenix told me, na idiretso ko sa bahay nya si Pan dahil nandoon daw ang anak namin, I keep on glancing at her. She looks worry, or something. So, I parked my car and face her.

"Why did we stop?" She ask.

"You look distracted. Something's bothering you?" I ask full of concern.

"W-wala naman—"

"You know I won't force you if you're not ready to introduce me to our son, baby. I can wait. Just tell me and I'll just drive you home." I cut her. Umiling ito.

"N-no... I-I'm ready... And I promise Lixian that you're with me when I come home. It's just... I'm nervous." Saad nya. I reach for her hand and held it.
